Sagrada Reset

Everyone already dropped this but Kei at least hugged a cute girl this episode.

I haven't dropped it and I'm not planning to do it because I'm genuinely enjoying the show.
Now, about today's episode, Kei's kekkai to make Haruki activate the Ristotto was absolutely marvelous and impeccable. Truly an Einstein-level genius.

I haven't dropped it. I don't why. I guess I've been entranced.

Missed the thread earlier, glad to see one made.
>whonever has the mcguffin controls town
>mcguffin is a stone in the earlier episodes
>can you love a stone
>masamune parents are petrified or locked if we go by the ability that was used
>this episode kei mcguffin callback
I giggled.

I do have two questions about this episode.

Why didn't Kei's all knowing memory disappear completely? Shouldn't he only memorize what he's gotten from that timeline/world of abilities not existing? Also why did the photo ripping work if abilities are negated? Is the Photo imbued with the ability like a enchanted item in the real world, so it doesn't count?

Fake memories implanted and their memories on how to use theirs were removed, its not like the ability is gone, they just forgot how to use it and their previous memories on using it too.The world/timeline is still the same.
Only kei's remain because its his power, since removing his memories didnt work as expected, the new and old memories just bunched up.

Do you watch your anime at 2x speed?
Jokes aside, he has his memories because the abilities effects weren't negated, Masamune just vanished them, but the effects caused by the abilities remained the same. Thats why Haruki was still 2 years younger, the photo had its effect, and Kei remembered everything. Now, he lost the ability to remember everything until the riseto occured again and abilities were restored.

Thanks anons. In my head I thought Abilities were just gone, not that memories of them were gone. Makes sense with Haruki still being younger.

Super overlooked that, but thanks for explaining.

Kei sociopathy getting tamed day by day.

Episode was damn good, hit pretty damn hard the whole time. Soma suffering and Kei finding his mom, then Haruki finally using reset, so many tears. It was so good.

Here's a graphic explanation... of sorts. Masamune wanted to erase everyones' memories but Kei's memory can't be erased so it backfired (or simply didn't work with him).

It was all part of the keikaku.

So long kei has his memories, with his abilities or no, I dont think Soma has any chances. Maybe if Haruki doesnt want him anymore or rejects him. Please no spoiler or put in them black bars if you got the urge to post.

She lost user. In all timelines. It hurts but I think its time to accept it. I mean, how many times does she need to be rejected to really hammer it in?

How many times has she been rejected already? I have counted 3 so far.

Yeah, three. Maybe one more time in the rest of the episodes to really shove it in our face.

I dont root for anyone either but just saying on how things could go story wise.

We are back in the reset timeline, that chicken curry scene is coming back, maybe another hammering incoming.

How could someone reject a girl as cute as soma? Kei might be very smart in other matters but he still have shit taste in women.

He did have two years to deal with her death while hanging out with Haruki to warm up to her though.

Why is everyone calling this sagrada, I'm pretty sure that's a ク.

It actually is Sagrada though, they mention the name of the town being based of sacred place or some shit like that.

It was explained 2 episodes ago I believe, "Sagrada" is the spanish for "Sacred", and something something about the city being a sacred place for the people with abilities.

I wouldnt say cute, almost all the girls in this got that doll like design, a bit creepy to me. Kit kat old hag is fine though.

>doll like design
Dolls are meant to look cute.

Holy shit, I had to go back to find out which episode was this scene was first shown. It was the first scene after the OP of episode 13, and it was Soma remembering something after using her precognition ability on Kei. I was confused and wasn't sure when the flashback happened, but now it makes sense. It was a flashforward.

She also was rejected twice in the same place , the worst is, she already knew the outcome, but she still clung onto hope.

Twice? What was the first time?

In a flashback, episode 9 or 10.

You mean the exact thing I pointed out here ? That wasn't a flashback. It was her seeing the future.

Nah, she was in the exact same spot as this one and again, she said off-screen than she was being rejected.

Check the filename of pic related. She's in the same spot because it's the exact same scene, don't you get it? Word for word, it's the same thing. In episode 13, Soma remembers herself seeing into the future, giving this scene we get in episode 20.

>its a flashforward
Holy shit, damn son.Good fucking catch user.

I now have the urge to binge this anime once it's finished.
Btw, and on an non-related not, I just found that there are 2 live-action films of this anime (based on the LNs of course), have any of you anons already seen them?

Uhh, you don't get to bring memories.

she look way better with long hair tbqh

Did anyone else cry?

I did, when Kei found his family.

Not me.

No, but 2 films? The 2nd one is a continuation or a remake?

I didn't tear up but it was heartwarming

I sure felt for Kei when he found his mom but she couldn't remember anything and it was great when Haruki finally used her reset at the end.

I don't think she lost in all the timelines. She just needed to lose so that the reset power can be used once the abilities have been erased.

Being Souma is suffering

I shed some tears at this scene

Oh I just had a nightmare. What if our world really was created 5 minutes ago and all our memories are fake?!

Does it matter? Present and future are equivalent in either cases.

It won't matter because we don't know of any other world anyway.

Call me when Haruki kills herself for Kei

I don't want this. I want Soma's victory to be fair and I don't want her to be chosen because Haruki died.
