Right-wing groups are not as good at forming lasting cultural institutions, because they tend to form for the purpose of a specific policy issue rather than to change society as a whole. Successful right-wing institutions have always taken the form of traditionalist community groups like the Boy Scouts, Shriners, et al. These groups are vulnerable to left-wing infiltrators and have weakened along with the traditional American neighborhood community that came with the suburbanization of America and the capricious marriages of boomers who married for sex and divorced for more sex and didn't give a shit about raising their kids.

Also, to give credit where credit is due, right-wing groups were often secret societies like the Masons and Skull & Bones. For some reason, the right-wing cannibalized these groups in the name of stopping the NWO and Jews. Surprisingly, Crossfire served as a quality breeding ground for Old Right-style conservatives back in the day. Pat Buchanan with his frank demeanor, Bob Novak with his classic suit vest and Tucker Carlson with his memorable bow tie. All three of them paleocons and Ron Paul supporters when it was unpopular to be so. Tucker spoke at Paul's Rally for the the Republic and Novak threw his support behind Paul soon before his passing. I corresponded with Novak when I was a kid and he wrote me a nice letter back along with his autograph which still hangs on my wall to this day.
