It sounds like Yukino's request is something each person individually addresses rather than an goal they work on collectively as a team.

Maybe since Yukino said quite clearly that her request isn't the end but since vol 12 is not the last volume I am hesitant to make declarations about the end. She seems to have an eye on Hachiman's genuine request after hers. I don't know how the very end will go, they are going to be living in the now but we know that there will be some regret or bitterness. That bitterness might be the end of friendships or the end of romance.
