No one knows.

We'd ban Government.

Stores would stop selling them. Existing ones would be grandfathered in. If they tried some sort of confiscation or mandatory buy-back most people wouldn't comply and would hide them, like what happened in Australia.

Dead journalists.

First people would protest and the left would without a shred of irony or integrity call them a bunch of babies that arent getting what they want. Who knows from there

Realistically? It'd get tied up in courts

In my imagination? pic related

Correctomundo !

HOO HOO

HAAAHAAA

There would be a ton of shill threads on Sup Forums telling people its the end of the world probably

Nothing. Poltards talk a big game but they won't do shit

Nothing.

Most responsible gun owners will happily turn them in for our kids

Kicking and screaming along with a few protests and maybe a Waco or two. It wouldn't end up happening but instead you would see things like weapon and ammo limits just to appease both sides. The second amendment would be rewritten and the whole of America might become quite a bit more conservative.

2nd amendment aside, it is unconstitutional to retroactively make people criminals for actions committed prior to a law passing. That's why vehicles that dont meet modern emission standards made before those standards were made are exempt from them.

So if you banned ar-15s you could not them ban all the ar-15s already in existance without some additionally difficult legislation. I'm sure it's possible.

However, even if you got rid of all the ar-15s you still have to deal with the fact that the ar-15 is a semi automatic rifle that shoots .22 rounds, and that you consumed insurmountable legal and political hurdles to ban just about the worst gun you could use for a mass shooting. If anything the ar-15 is tricking criminals into using it instead of a more useful firearm.

This is a scare tactic to boost sales

AR15 sales are at an all time high
also record breaking gun purchases by women

The best thing you could do for the safety and security of the most people is vote to keep strong gun ownership rights.

The next best thing would be to vote to prohibit government workers from holding dual citizenship/passports.

what a little bitch, get some flouride in your soy milk avocado munch

I mean it's kind of irrelevant isn't it. The mini 14 albeit nowhere near as customization friendly. Is just as freaking dangerous as a standard .22 Ar. More so because of the lower profile. I've never once had the police called when loading the mini 14 into my trunk.
I was pulled over twice when I owned an AR because of calls from concerned neighbors. Yet they never even bat an eyelash when I load the BMG 50, they literally come out and chat me up ask me what kind of rifle it is etc. LOL

We'll just rename it to the BR-16

>HELP POLICE! THIS GUY HAS THAT GUN FROM CALL OF DUTY!

And you know that's really the kicker isn't it? What the he'll is being banned when an ar15 is banned? Is it the name? The look?
That's the only reason anyone cares about it. It has the letters A and R in it and it looks spooky.
If it wouldn't set a dangerous precident I would support banning the ar15 just to shut people up about it. It wouldn't actually end up banning anything.

You can't do that because it's illegal.

Most normies think the AR in AR-15 stands for assault rifle

It could precipitate a civil war.

>FiveSeven
Why even bother

We would go to war.

Everyone starts buying AR-18/180s

God bless America.

If by Call of Duty: Battle of Las Veglujah

a lot of them would get lost in boating accidents

Isn't FiveSeven a handgun with an uncommon meme round?

Last time you all bent over and took it in the rear. Let’s not repeat our mistakes.

>"The Sheriff and his Deputies should never be armed in public. Every urban riot, shoot-out and blood-bath (involving guns) in recent memory has been set off by some trigger-happy cop in a fear frenzy." -Thompson, Candidate for Aspen Sheriff

I would buy even more of them

This. This dude has the only reasonable response. Maybe some idiot would try to shoot up a place, who knows. You bet your ass they'd be armed to the teeth the day they were going to ban ar-15's
