So many natural phenomenon that were once considered the work of a divine being have been quantified into simple mathematics and into the laws of physics. These laws and theories that have sprung up tell us about our universe as a whole, why and how it works.

While this is true, the fact that a belief in god is based off what we don't know as a species is against logic.
