I wouldn't call it pro-Nazi exactly. It uses Hollywood Nazi stereotypes (degenerate skinhead subculture) and eventually the fucker turns to a norkie afterwards. I heard that there were some legit nazis behind this movie, but after finding out about what it's message was, they said they didn't want to be credited at the end. Tony Kaye (Jewish director) went crazy making the film. He claims it's because Norton and the studio took away his control of the edit (it originally ended with Norton becoming a Nazi again after his brother is killed).
But I think Kaye probably realized that Nazis were right about a lot more things than he wanted them to be and lost his mind. It took him 11 years to make another narrative feature film.

American History X is way more sympathetic/glamorizing of skinheads than Requiem is of drug use. When I saw American History X as a young white normie liberal, I identified with comments like "I hate how it's cool to be black." They show enough of the character's logic that you begin to understand why whites would have racial consciousness and/or pride, but condemn some specific negative consequences of it.

When I saw it (long ago) I thought that I could definitely see how this could become a cult movie for nazis, but for me it was one of the more convincing arguments against nazis I had seen in that, it seemed to me, the movie tried to take their side of the argument seriously instead of just strawmanning.
The fact that it did go on to become a nazi cult movie made me even more open to the idea that it really did capture the nazi side fairly enough. This is also is why it is credible when the movie shows the ultimate invalidity of nazis, by showing their seemingly inevitably violent side. I'm not against self defense, even "racial" self defense, but I always prefer a peaceful solution if available, and nazis keep jumping to violent solutions prematurely, imo, which is what they do in the movie and is certainly what the Germans did.
All in all, fantastic movie, would see again.

We could make movies about what the world would be like if Hitler won. Taking the mainstream means rightwing people in Hollywood won't be living up to purity tests. It may start with a hardcore base (see shitty films like Gods Not Dead), but ultimately rightwing Hollywood needs to take over production the same way the Jews did. They need to read Alinsky and "subvert" as much traditional/conservative/rightwing propaganda as they can get away with in a never ending march to end degeneracy.

As a consumer, here's what you can do: develop taste in media that supports rightwing, masculinist, Christian etc. values. This is already happening on Sup Forums and Sup Forums. Think: Drive, Bladerunner, Taxi Driver, Fight Club, Road Warrior etc.
There's a lot of "gray area" films that Hollywood kikes hate because they're not degenerate enough, or because they speak to subconscious rightwing impulses in young men.
Deconstruct these films, understand how they benefit you, and only apply "purity tests" when you can gain more ground (just like the kikes wait to push their degeneracy, step-by-step). Support any openly rightwing actors/directors who are active (Chris Pratt, Mel Gibson), and support those who seem like closet rightwingers (some Disney/Pixar films and family entertainment).
This won't happen overnight. The market will take at least a generation to make, and the control will have to be wrested back over the course of several generations. But eventually, a popular rightwing media (or anti-leftwing media) can exist.
And remember: Every act of beauty is a revolt against the modern world.
