Princess Principal

When will Chieko come back?

Never. She's busy with... stuff.

The cutest girl!

Is her hair transparent?

...

Was her only purpose just to pair Chise with someone? because we already have Charlotte + Ange and Dorothy + Beatrice.

Can't Chise go meet her after Princess becomes Queen

Not as low as making Nagisa for mumi. Marilla was there to show the demands of the lambs.

>Dorothy + Beatrice

bullshit, it's Dorothy x Chise, Beato deserves nothing

Say that again

Only beatings for Beato!

Marilla is ugly tough

who /getacrossthewall/ here?

Just like Chise. That's why they create such a fantastic couple!

>Charlocock

Beato is very cute and NOT for bullying.

>tfw no comfy SoL Victorian steampunk laundry girl spinoff
why go on?

Why are they trying to do a Sup Forums sings with OP on that other thread? ED is much more catchy and memorable.

>ED is much more catchy and memorable.
Never gonna make it across that wall with that attitude, idiot.

Robot is for hugs only, heathen

You must really want the shit kicked outta ya, huh?

SoL really needs to explore non-modern-Japan-highschool settings more. Even something as simple as making the group based around out-of-school mountain climbing instead of yet another school club made Yama no Susume so much more interesting than it would have been otherwise. Also magical girl shows and girl groups in general.

Medieval girls cutely travelling Europe! Tudor high society SoL! Magical girls on spaceships! Cavegirl SoL (in before Earth Girls)! But nooo, the cute stuff's always gotta be in modern Japan and it's always gotta be in a school.

>Not liking jazz

ED is a soft melody not suited for wizards.

...

I'm actually writing a fantasy medieval girl SoL story

...

I would like to arrange a scenario where "Alice" gets upset with "Becky," pulls her into the nearby broom closet and defiles her so I can listen to it.

Best of lucks.

I'll try not to be a hack

I want Alice to ravish Becky in front of Priscilla.

Do you think Age felt regret killing AOonii-san from the first episode?

Yeah I agree.
There's nothing too great about the japanese school life experience.
At least for some sorts of shows it makes sense to stick to that because they lend themselves to self insertion and nostalgia for the japanese audience but cute girls doing cute things is just meant to be comfy, cute escapism.
The essence of it lies in the cute girls and their interactions and experiences, not in the school setting.

Cute girls being merchants on old europe like spice and wolf but with girls would be fun. Or a victorian laundry sol. Or pretty much anything really.
That's one of the things I liked about Urara, at least it was set in a different time and a unique place and had some elements of magic along the ride.

I don't think she had to shoot him 5 times, she got a little upset

She have to shoot multiple times to make it a beliveable murder case out of vengeance or gang conflict, instead of suicide or assassination. Suicide would render the insurance null, assassination would invite troublesome investigation.

I just want my cute girls doing cute fighter pilot things anime already.

Girls und Panzer but with jets?

The ED is just too comfy to get me hyped enough to sing.
I just keep merrily shaking my head on rhythm.

Strike Witches?

Yeah, jets or WW2 fighters if they want to wank their Zero some more, I'd be fine with either.

But with actual planes.

I've wanted that for ages. I was so disappointed when Lagrange had all of the jets transform into seen-it-before giant mecha for the fights. Not only are they less interesting as vehicles, there's so much less potential nuance to mech fights than dogfights, since dogfights have actual physics and real manouvers behind them. And girls actually piloting and operating them competently are far more compelling than just having being magical moe antropomorphizations of them like Strike Witches and Kancolle. Cute + competence is the ultimate combo.

I need more than just Stratos 4.

I feel you.
The closest I've got was with the Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta/Tsuioku, which were pretty great to be fair, but not 100% there.

This. Too bad nip otakus can't handle competent girls. They just want stupid moeblob fooling around with cool tech/magic so they won't feel threaten.

Beato secretly wants to be a slut.

>Magical girls on spaceships
So basically Mouretsu Pirates x Symphogear?
That would be better than anything.

It's strange if you think about it, do japs have an aversion to airplanes or something?
Because it's not something you usually think there's a lack of demand for, hell, hollywood has its own plane porn every so often, so what's keeping Japan?
They made GuP for tanks, Haifuri came out recently for ships, so the only missing piece now is one for planes.
Even in manga, it's very rare to find something about it, the standouts that I can think about is that Zero pseudo documentary and that one which /ak/ seemingly dropped on ch.1, so I'll probabyl have to learn nip if I ever want to see it through.

Really makes me wonder if there's a deeper meaning to it.

>competent girls
Watch Mouretsu Pirates.
Granted it's only partly cute girls in spaceships, but it still has a good amount of that.

>Stratos 4

Good taste.

Tanks and ships require crews which means lots more cute girls in the action with less equipment, while a plane is mainly a solo experience (outside of the two pilot ones). As the cast gets larger, more planes are required and the less feasible it becomes to assume a school club could engage in such activities.

Too much techbabbles. Not real pirates but just cosplayers for hire. I'm still mad.

Last Exile kind of fits, although its not exclusively girls. Also the best girl is a boy so...

I'm sorry for your expectations.

Here's what user's longing for: Shidenkai no Maki

The sad thing is I didn't have any expectation at the start. I never do for any anime, blind diving suits me best. It's just that the setting seemed perfect for a certain direction, yet the show wasted it for no reason. Missed opportunity is enraging.

Moe Top Gun. 80% of Top Gun was on the ground.

But Top Gun was also really homoerotic. Why would you want that in you planegirls anime?

>a plane is mainly a solo experience (outside of the two pilot ones)
Not really, formations of 2, 3 or 4 planes usually are the norm, and the incredible vulnerability of the pilots only accentuates the sense of camaraderie and cooperation, as one is very often straight up saving their mates' lives.
The very term "wingman" with it's origin and application implies that feeling.

Yeah, that was the one.
I don't think it got popular literally anywhere, fuck nips and their shit taste.
Or perhaps you could say that it didn't take off.

>Haha! Time for volleyball!

She's rather cute.

I don't know, the show started with school girls learning how to fly a spaceship and doing an intricate maneuver, for me those first five episodes or so set a mood that was incompatible with the thought of serious (that is, dangerous and deadly) piracy. I knew noone would die in that show and none of the heroines were capable of doing something bad at all.

>CGDCT
>not homoerotic
What are trying to say?

Yeah, agreed 100%. That's pretty much what I thought while watching and enjoying the episode, fully realizing that it wasn't advancing the overarching plot much at all. I was realizing that with good characters, the show barely needs to be about much externally at all. Sure, SoL CGDCT usually has some external pressure (Getting ready for the Festival! etc.) but that could so easily be replaced in a different setting. Japs are just so formulaic and we're not even asking for much, just a fresh setting every once in a while. This is one reason why I'm enjoying PriPri so much.

I want to beat Princess up.

>you will never permanently change her voice to sound like a hood nigger

Will check out, thanks.

It doesn't have to be a deadly show for them to do piracy. A group of genius delinquents trying to fuck with the goverment to show off their competence and demand employment? An interstellar piracy tournament? A treasure planet that high schoolers aren't supposed to get involved with, but they steal a ship and hacked that information to go there anyway? So many adventurous options that didn't have to be fucking cosplaying.

The dykes' marriage drama also demonstrated that it's not just a CGDCT show, but there can be real life unpleasantness plotline. And the girls WERE competent. Thus the "non-serious" excuse is bullshit. The show has everything it needs to be a fun action adventure. It chose to be dumb instead.

I'd watch a Reccetear anime. Those adventurers who collect mats for her are never shown adventuring, they just show up at the shop all beaten, bandaged & bloodied to receive their measly wages from the glasses fairy.

Also, one episode entirely focused on Recette & the little girl trying to out-jew each other.

Are you new to anime? Maybe you should stop samefagging this hard like a retard and watch more anime rather than seasonal shit, facebook-chan.

Looks like somebody's trying way too hard to fit in.

I just finished this week's episode, Sup Forums. That was really cute and comfy and still mangaged to progress the story (kinda).

cringy thread

You wish, Princess.

Btw when are you planning to be a real character instead of just Ange's sexual fantasy?

What an ugly Princess.

i tri to make good talk. you put in dyke. prease stop

Yeah, right. Thanks for providing my point. You should fuck off to some other board, at the very least.

>still managed to progress the story

Has a single episode besides the second progressed the story in any way?

How good is Chise at math?

I'm glad this anime is flopping.

tree fiddy

How can I prove your point when you never made any points?

no

Ange is so ugly.

>It's strange if you think about it, do japs have an aversion to airplanes or something?

You tell me, Nippon Master.

Ehh?

>Recettear Anime

This was the answer and it was really dull. Goddamn, this thread is becoming a thinly veiled rec thread.

I'd rape Willbell though.

The flashback will be cute. Listen here.

Charlotte is in her yard being cute. Suddenly a strange "boy" manages to find its way over the wall. Charlotte befriends this "boy" eventually and falls in love. Then she kisses "him" but the "boy" reveal "he"s" actually Ange a girl. Charlotte is embarrassed that she just kissed another girl but then it is okay because they are both girls. Ange offers to take Charlotte outside the gated palace she lives in so she can experience the plight of her peoples. Charlotte says that she can't leave because people will notice her missing and it will cause a big stink. Ange then offers to trade places with Charlotte because they do look kind of similar and it would be a new experience for her too. Cue loli exchanging outfit scenes.

Charlotte (now playing Ange) gets caught by the guards and tossed out while Ange (now Charlotte) gets properly mistaken for the princess. Ange takes the time to explore London and eventually makes it pretty far away. By the time she makes it back the palace has been set on fire (the flashback scenes from earlier) and she is now stuck on the outside with her new identity.

Funny, I even mentioned that thing in my post.

I can't tell by your description if it was that or the Miyazaki Ghibli version so I just went with my gut feeling.

That doesn't explain Ange's determination to leave everything behind and just want to live together with Princess in a white house in Casablanca.

Ange clearly has something personal against her own royal family.

At this rate normalfaggotries will start to seek MMA and Bill Maher in anime.

Well, since you mentioned, cute girls doing MMA would be kinda neat.

Beside being fanfiction-tier, there is the bigger problem that they wouldn't be so close if they only talked once as kids. I think they probably swapped places many times and played together a lot before they split up.

Also, Princess (Ange) has to have done something pretty critical and important for Ange (Charlotte) to justify life the latter's absolute loyalty to the former in the present.

>Ange clearly has something personal against her own royal family.
I think she just loves Princess way too much. And for all we know her parents are dead anyway.

>normalfaggotries
You're really trying too hard. Hasn't summer ended yet where you are?

I should have specified the process of Charlotte falling in love with Ange would take place over several weeks since she knows that secret way into the castle.

No, ippo and your everyday's sport and fujoshit anime are already enough.

That explanation doesn't fit anything. You simply don't risk your life just to reunite and rescue someone who you just met once as a kid. And you especially don't agree with overthrowing your own grandmother and your uncles/aunts just because that other kid wants to be with you.

It's clear that something serious had happened in the royal family for Ange to be this antagonistic. Maybe she knew her parents were murdered by one of the next in line, or that how cruel the royals were to the commoners like Princess' family.

Another one trying too hard for the reddit high standards, eh?

>You simply don't risk your life just to reunite and rescue someone who you just met once as a kid
I'm not the user who wrote that fanfiction thing. I'm only saying Ange wants to run away with Princess because she loves Princess. We still don't know why she loves her so much. Must be something huge, but I don't think it has to do with the royal family. It's about Princess. She did something for Ange in the past and won her loyalty and love.
