Not only did Kubo's style go completely sterile after SS, but the story might as well not exist.
Granted I don't have the full manga to judge but from what I've seen I'm not too far off.

Kubo realized she was basically a human Rukia and put her on a bus.

They gloat because they won despite IRs constantly saying IH had no chance at canon which made them look stupid and overconfident in the end. Not only that, but Kubo just kept giving the IR fanbase blow after blow in so many different ways.

She could see the "Ghosts" much like the other side characters.

karin also saw ghosts and nothing happened with her character. they were never going to be important and thank god for that since the cast would've just gotten even more bloated. plus tatsuki was basically another rukia in terms of personality.

But despite all of that they still shit up threads whenever anyone criticizes Bleach, or its ending, or Orihime as a character, or if anyone speaks of Rukia in a positive way. If they were actually satisfied, they would not do these things.

I always hear this, but I never hear exactly what power she could possibly get. She can't be a healer since there is Orihime. She can't a fighter since Chad already fills that role. What could she even do?

They're entirely responsible for it becoming popular. The reason the series never went back to the human world and characters was because they simply were not popular at all. Had the first arc continued any longer it would have likely been cancelled.

Bleach never really gave much of the cast the light of day and spent most of its pages on fighting. Standard shonen mistake. The series on a whole would have benefited from more monster of the week type stuff and ghost story type chapters to get to know the cast and for the cast to get to know eachother.
