Yeah, I think Motoyama, in comparison to Yamane, has a bigger gap to cross in order to get cozy with her designated potential mate. Kurihara was already head-over-heels for Frogface from the start. Meanwhile, Enomoto is pretty much an anti-otaku (from Kansai, to boot) who's got Motoyama on the first-friend zone. Those are quite heavy mental barriers to overcome, though not impossible.

If Noro can do it, so can he.
