There were so many interesting things in the anime to pass by it. Range Murata's character designs were great and gave it a wide range of cute lolis. The backstory, animation (and how they made 3DCG blend in so well even for today's standards) and unconventional dialogues were also amazing.

I found it to be kind of boring. The ending felt rushed and some subplots were glossed over to get to the ending.
That being said, my friends and I, whenever we're making a sharp turn, whether it's carrying something or driving, we never fail to shout IMMELMANN TURN!
I still listen to the OP time to time too. Cloud Age Symphony is fantastic.
