A new season has been confirmed about a month ago, and two new games have been announced so far. It's also currently getting re-aired at a child-friendly timeslot and it's still getting a fuckton of collaboration events.
So I'd say it's doing pretty well.

There was a smartphone app released yesterday that is topping both the google play and iOS stores in Japan. There are collaborations with zoos and museums going on. There is a second season announced. There is an ongoing manga series. There is another smartphone game announced to be released at a later date. The show is currently being rebroadcast on a child friendly timeslot over a wider broadcasting area than the first time also.

The A La Carte manga series has been realising an entire new volume every month since the anime finished. It is a new manga series not the story of the new one with little short things multiple authors in each.

From pantyhose to ZR. The main issue is that the pantyhouse look was designed to allow her battle graphics to be a complete palletswap of Japanese Ibis' aside from different expressions.

Due to not being tied to game sprites anymore, Mine got freedom to tweak the design.

Also, I find it crazy to believe that despite its current popularity, Kemono Friends has actually been around since 2014, at least as far as designs go.

When you are just doing renders for still images and short clips putting more effort into detailing like the blushing on Serval and Kaban's face there and expressive facial expressions probably isn't as big an ask as when you are trying to animate 12 episodes of animation with 10 people.

To be honest it took me more than 15 minutes to remember I actually heard about the Campo Flicker in a couple of documentaries, that's an obscure animal man, heck the Tsuchinoko rang a bell because of Dunsparce, however I think I never cared enough about their segments in documentaries, If I had to be honest I knew of Sandcat and Margay or Servals being almost as doggos as Cheetahs but the Campo Flicker is truly obscure.
