Why do so many mangaka get ill?

Why do so many mangaka get ill?

japanese cold is the deadilest

They live in dank mancaves, working 14 hour days with their assistants, six days per week.

Insufficient defragging.

They rush to get their latest chapter to the publisher and get caught in the rain without an umbrella.

...

Which manga has the best defragged-hiatus look? Berserk? Vagabond?

And I thought Oda takes a break in every 4th week is one of the worst

Fantasia lol

Is there a Kochikame chart?

it is not as bad

Probably because the Japanese business world is a soul crushing nightmare. And the manga industry is a notable for being completely fucking insane even in their society.

it hurts, the hiatus killed it

Oda is a complete monster with seemingly unlimited stamina and vitality. He is an outlier

Hiatus x Hiatus

4 hours of sleep everyday.

Oda is the textbook definition of workaholic.
>That long streak of red from 2014 to 2016
True suffering

They don't wash themselves with soap.

that poor VA

jesus

>a complete monster with seemingly unlimited stamina and vitality
>the textbook definition of workaholic
>because he works on one single weekly series that now takes monthly breaks
Ishinomori averaged 56 pages a week over a period of 44 years.

>tfw you actually thought it was going to get better

Mangaka from earlier periods have a faster process of producing manga, most of the time they don't even sketch the storyboard.
Ishinomori's skill is still legendary though.

>implying they're actually ill

Easiest/only way to get a vacation as a manga artist.

Is World Trigger any good? Usually with these type of manga I give the anime a shot first but I'm never going to touch a Toei anime again.

To be fair, this is because he takes his time to come up with the plot. Not because he's sick.

Yeah Oda definitely has been getting older.

Berserk stopped being good anyways.

Toei stopped any chance of it getting popular in the west too. Such a shame.

>most of the time they don't even sketch the storyboard

so most of the work was done by editors?

is there a berserk chart?
i've given up on it possibly being finished

>why?
Filthy weak chinchangs.
They bathe in their own filth, live in secluded spaces without enjoying open air activities, eat shit food, overwork themselves into slavery to please societal demands and they are generally weaker when compared to both whites & blacks.

Their society, their consummerism, their history and their attitude makes them weaker and more prone to get infected by shit.

They just straight up draw the finished product.

With OP, breaks being result of illness is purely fan-spread rumor. Oda openly admitted that he uses his breaks to travel.

>tfw you started counting the percentage of hiatus not the percentage of publication

To be fair he has a spinal problem iirc

What would the one for Guyver be like?

now post the Nana chart

because when someone gets sick in japan everyone they know comes and visits them.

Terrible work ethic.
It's japanese mentality. Work all the time, cut on sleep.
There's even japanese saying 四当五落 meaning "sleep four hours pass, sleep five hours fail" (when learning for uni entrance exams).
They don't realise that by sleeping 8-10 hours a day would make them achieve the same results in less amount of time and don't die from terribly unhealthy lifestyle.

>Berserk stopped being good anyways.
You have shit taste

ah yes, the Dragonquestroperosis

Do you actually think adults enjoy playing chore simulators?

They're just a bunch of liars who make up excuses to hide their incompetence.

I'm not even a professional and I could probably do a better job than most of them with the time given.

ok, then start to draw a manga week by week

and since you has an another job and of course want to have some freetime, then instead of 16-18 pages 2-3 / chapter will be enough.

prove that you are not a lazy faggot with lot of excuses

holy shit

Work schedule

BASTARD!!'s author said he only took 30 min. Naps 2-3 times a day

I thought japs had one of the highest life expectancies?

work culture has a huge effect on stress
there was a CEO a few years ago who sudokued in his office

fo the previous generations, not the for the current

if u dont sudoku

Hard times create strong people. Strong people create good times. Good times create weak people with long life expectancies. Weak people create hard times.
BLAME OLD PEOPLE / ADULTS MAY MAY

hard times create strong memes. strong memes
create dank times.dank times create dank memes.dank memes create deep fried times.

It's still my favourite manga in Jump. The anime is alright but you aren't missing much by skipping it. Just check out the openings when you feel like.

Still the king, but Ashihara is getting there as well.

>dont sleep,study instead
Jesus fucking christ how horrifying. No wonder 1/4 nip highschoolers have clinical depression

depression is just a construct. You're only depressed because you know of the concept.

he lost interest in 2006, no way around it
then in 2011 he started hammering out chapters, stopped right when the anime finished airing (contract?) then didnt do a single one for over a year

>Vagabond
The hiatus on this one is killing me.

according to bakuman they get ill and their editors wont let them die trying to draw
