How far would Light have gone if the Death Note hadn't corrupted him into Kira?

How far would Light have gone if the Death Note hadn't corrupted him into Kira?

Had his goal still being the god of a new world?
He would have won hands down.

How would he have won?

Second L

The bullshit with the movie made me want to watch the original again, but I feel guilty for some reason. What should I do?

With or without corruption, there is no logical reason for Light to not bang Misa.

Watch the Japanese Movies.

His goals would be entirely different if he wasn't corrupted in the first place.

What if the Death Note can only be used by the corrupt in the first place?

Would Light have been invincible and effectively God if he didn't fuck up and kill the fake L that was only broadcasted to a district of Tokyo?

He probably would have become an ace detective and made it to the international level and befriended L as a partner/rival.

he will lived a loser life just being another cog in the system

How much better would've it been if it was a little girl instead of Light?

he was a college prodigy who was popular and could get most girls if he wanted to. If he didn't come in contact with the Death Note then he would have had zero interest in an air head like Misa

the fake L thing was just bait to pinpoint where Kira's location was. If that didn't work, then L would have found another way to narrow down the location by showing broadcasts of criminals in different locations until he found a match

L would just come up with something else. That was baby bait and outed Light as a retard since day 1.

Were those bad too?

I bet all other girls are boring compared to Misa.

they were decent, the second movie had a better ending than the manga.

I'd be full of shitty fanservice

Why was Light Turner such a pussy compared to Light Yagami? Why was Mia such a psychotic ravenous bitch compared to Misa?

he would work for japan's top500 company and commit suicide by the time he's 35 and realizes he has no kids.

Pretty much this

I tried watching the cartoon version of death note but I liked the movie on netflix better. I don't get why the cartoon changed so much with turner and whitewashed L

Why did Light never consider killing L with a gun and then killing all witnesses by death note? perfectly timed of obviously.

It felt like L was the only problem. Once L would be gone, Light could pull all kinds of bullshit like faking his own death or so. Or he could just kill every person who knows about him as Light and even if that doesn't work he could still get by by hiding and changing his appearance or some shit.

>implying Light gives a fuck about his Family or anybody for that matter

I still feel sorry for the Imouto.
The girl didn't deserve it.

It's Japan where would he get a gun from?

Light Turner was such a pussy because he didn't have his mother's love to help him anymore.

Mia was a psychotic bitch because she's a cheerleader who was bored like Light.

I think the point was that there was no way anyone would NOT be corrupted after using the Death Note for a while. It literally gives you power over life and death. You choose who lives and who dies. That sort of power is bound to inevitably corrupt anyone who's not an actual saint. I'd say Light did better than most at the start. Lesser men would have used its power to get money or revenge or all sorts of petty things. At least Light tried to use it strictly on criminals. Of course, with that sort of power though, he unsurprisingly ended up with a god complex. So yeah, there was no way Light would not be corrupted. That's the whole deal with the note.

The police. Police in Japan are still allowed to carry guns. If he knows the name of at least one police who carries a gun he could write their name down and make them give him the gun before committing suicide. That way the police dies and he gets a gun.

>If he knows the name of at least one police who carries a gun he could write their name down and make them give him the gun before committing suicide.
You forgot you can't make someone do something they wouldn't have come up with themselves, you speedreading edgelord.

Is there anyone who would be an actual saint and not be corrupted in Jump?

Misa is boring.

Bakuman's MC

As soon as L turned up and one-upped Light, it became about beating L for Light, not creating a better future for humanity.

Just order him to drop the gun at a specified place and pick it up afterwards

>policemen go and abandon their guns in random places all the time
Stop being a faggot, and realize Light would have been busted in a month if the author made L somewhat competent.

fuck that, in the last scene(and during all anime for that matter) he could have just meet up with L/near, write up everyone and say that they are going to try to kill L/near before trying to kill themselves.

What the fuck do you need L/near names for, they don't need to be killed with the note for fucks sake.

>How far would Light have gone if the Death Note hadn't
He probably would have become second L for a while but then probably would have come to the same conclusion of becoming God after dealing with the dregs of society for himself. He probably would have stayed as a detective for as long as his father lived though out of loyalty. He may have even gotten Matsuda as a comrade when he decided to become Kira as loyalty was what kept him from agreeing with Kira in the first place.

oh shit!
this so much

Because he's a little asshat that gets off over being superor to everyone else.

>say that they are going to try to kill L
Notebook forbids doing that, Light even mentions how annoying that is for him.

> Taking a registered and fingerprinted gun to use unironically
Caught in 6days/10.

So?
All the cops shoot each other and Light's dad hands Light his gun, he uses that to kill L and Watari

the show would have been better if L and light just fucked after that foot scene. then is can become a cute shoujo comedy where light is trying to stop L from finding out he is kira after he decideds he is gonna stop killing people and fake kiras death.

Death note forbids collateral damage. That's why Light was so confident that getting kidnapped on the bus would work.

rekt

the manga didnt really set the bar that high

I don't think he was retarded but just a straight up megalomanic. Completely absorbed by his own power that he never thought anyone could oppose him like L did. Even after that he never learned and got more egotistical until he eventually paid the price for it.

>Why did Light never
he considered every possibility, the problem was always his ego. He didn't want to kill L with a gun, he wanted to kill him by outsmarting him intellectually. His fedora tipping was the entire reason for his downfall.

I don't know, L went on TV with the equivalent of "your a faggot Kira, 1v1 me irl". That's as obvious bait as it gets.

>policemen go and abandon their guns in random places all the time
This is quite possible to happen. Stop being an idiot.

Light should have killed everyone by writing everyone's name and then kill the N faggot with a gun by himself.
The faggot would argue about how this is so much out of character for Kira but Light would just reply back with a cheesy line like "this is for the sake of humanity" before pulling the trigger.
This would be pretty awesome.

Why would he be the second L?
