The third movie alone puts tri. above appmon even if the fourth one was shit. Appmon may not have any offensively bad moments but it's just dull and boring

On it's defense, it's not like digimon protagonists ever had any personal stakes against the villains, on the top of my head Savers is the only one where that's the case outside isolated cases like Impmon or Koji's brother
The first 2 seasons of Xros Wars were good though.
I think the show is pretty meh too, but I can forgive that since they went for an even younger audience than usual, so I got pretty much what I expected.
If there is one thing that really is fucking shit about it it is the fact that the first 30 or so episodes were a complete waste of time.

Honestly? Not really? I only watched it as kid. I probably still would like it more because it's familiar.
For me Xros was full of unlikable and annoying characters, a cheap gurren lagann copy and overall didn't really felt like "Digimon" to me.

Your is an example of the unused potention husters had. Both she and Dobermon guy where likeable and could been good as actual members of the team, but instead the show just keep putting one-off characters and Tagiru solo adventures instead of developing anything. As boring as Appmon can get at least it does that much better but things like Astra and Eri constantly growing friendship.

When I was in high school I had this idea that the year should start in September because:
1. The season wouldn't be split through two years like Winter
2. The first month of the year=first month of school, so you wouldn't need to say something dumb like "year 2002-2003", you can just say 2003
and 3. It's not like september-december are actually in the positions that their prefixes imply, so fucking them up more doesn't matter.
But then I questioned how this would play out if we actually tried this reform, lots of calendars would be fucked up and other weird shit. But after seeing how easily everyone accepted that "if christmas isn't on my digital calendar it doesn't exist, regardless of my physical calendar" I realized this is probably how it would work with that idea. People are so reliant on technology that the idiot sheeple (which is most people) wouldn't question it and half of the people smart enough to realize what's happening would recognize that it makes more sense than the current system.
