Any further restrictions are a slippery slope, even when paired with raising the voting age. It's a blatant constitutional violation and the next administration could just lower the voting age back down while leaving the 2A restrictions up, citing a bias in tying those two numbers together. Nothing is worth losing fundamental rights over.
