Was it Kubo or was it the editors?

Was it Kubo or was it the editors?

What exactly are you talking about user? Be more specific.

If I ever discover a new element or mineral I am going to name it kubotite.

Whose to blame regarding the last arc's falling and the unsatisfying ending?

I think it was a bit of both, and I think Kubo's health played a big factor.

How do you pronounce ""TITE"? Pick one or add one yourself
>Tit
>Tie Tee
>Tie Tay
>Tight
>Titty
>Tee Tay

i mean the guy did fuck up his shoulder in a bad way. I wouldn't be surprised if he never drew manga again.

>Tight

That one.

>I wouldn't be surprised if he never drew manga again.
He drew the covers for the last volume/two recent novels along with sketches, and he drew the characters from a different manga in his own art-style. He can definitely still draw, but I'm not sure about working another manga so soon especially under SJ.

He'll go for monthly serialization next probably.

all i hope for is that kubo takes it easy for a while the guy deserves&needs it.

It's actually 久保 帯人 Kubo Taito,

Kubo. He's a hack.

>muh editors

Considering how tight Kubo narrated the substitute arc through the soul society arc (200 chapters) the fact that the hueco mundo and arrancar arc exist as pale imitations THEN get invalidated through the fullbring arc and thousnd years war eating up 375 chapters, the fault is entirely on Kubo.

Kubo struck gold with early bleach and failed to capitalize on it for ten years.

Shipper nonsense ending was probably the editors meddling seeing as even an idiot like Kubo wouldn't be dumb enough to walk into the line of fire with those pairings(I'll never understand Ichirukifags fascination over such a garbage pairing to this day)

Anyhow Narita basically confirmed the proper ending to the series would've just been Ichiro getting betrayed and then used like the tool he is for all eternity.

The rushing before the ending is all Kubo's fault though

>Shipper nonsense ending was probably the editors meddling
Basically. IR became too big and popular, and Kubo had to appease its shippers. After the SS arc, he started to lessen their panel time together, but increased their colorspreads or other irrelevant things.

>then used like the tool he is for all eternity.
Nah. Kubo wouldn't give Ichigo such a sad end. I think the whole happy ending was what Kubo wanted, but the journey getting there wasn't what he envisioned. I'm sure we were suppose to get a lot of more things to happen between chapters 684-686, and I feel like the volume covers prove that. We got Renji on volume 73 despite not doing anything to land that cover, so I immediately thought that Chad was next then Orihime then Rukia then Ichigo which would be a callback to the first few volumes(with the exception of Renji since he doesn't show up till the SS arc starts). That would've been four more volumes, and each volume holds either 10/11 chapters with 74 having 12 chapters so that would've given us over 40 chapters.

>375 chapters
Shit, for a single arc. 4 years too.

100% KUBOOOOO, editors are jews, they would have went with the more popular Ichiruki. Bleach editor actually knew that Ichihime was endgame since the beginning though.

Renji and Rukia are the parents all kids wish they had.

this is the sad truth.
A writer may have one or two golden arcs planned out in his head but that doesn't necessarily mean he can milk the franchise forever.
Bleach had good aesthetics but lacked real substance without retreading a similar narrative.

Kubo was always running on empty, very few things were planned. That it looked nicely in the first two arc is likely a result of him still having fresh mind to come up new ideas and no previous continuity to bite him in the ass.

By the way, I think people are blowing his health issues out of proportion in regards toending of thestory. Kubo's health crisis that was mentioned in the sob story was 5 years before the ending, and as he mentioned in that AssClass author interview, he didn't realize he severity of his shoulder's condition until after the ending.

>partner
Is that why Inoue is making an "o" face? Because she's aware she's been cucked by Rukia?

Just rename Sodium

Partner is terms of work. Literally nothing romantic about it.

The Japanese word "aibou" means partner as in buddy or accomplice and has no romantic connotations. "Heroine" in Japanese manga is often used to describe love interests. That's why when jump do "heroine" spreads they put the MCs waifus on the cover (Orihime is the only bleach girl that's ever been featured on SJ heroine covers)

I didnt read the final arc
Did it suck ass? How abrupt was the forced ending?
Would

>Did it suck ass?
Yeah, kinda. Kenpachi finally got Bankai and jobbed to it. I'm not kidding, reread that sentence.
>How abrupt was the forced ending?
Pretty fucking abrupt. Ywach was suddenly weak to arrows fired from behind, then jobbed 5 years In the future to ICHIGO'S KID
>Would
You ok?

Almost every fight had some aspect of asspulling,Kenpachi got shafted, and one of the worst endings ever.

they don't end up together. get over it, shipfag.

Kubo "taito". Like "kite" is pronunced "kaito"

Kubo is a fuckboy.

Editors gave him four years to wrap it up, and he failed miserably.

On the other hand, a competent editor might have reined in his "artistic" tendencies and help him make something more concise like Soul Society or something.

It has been established for a long time that their relationship was not romantic. You only have yourself to blame retard. Even without that ending, this arc was shit with shitty fights and stuff. Bleach should have ended after the HM arc.

Every fight since the beginning had asspulls.

Shonen Jump editors have fucking double standard.

Kishimoto was allowed get the Final Shinobi War arc go along for 5 YEARS and get a conclusive ending yet they told Kubo to finish up his final arc within 4 years? Why would you tell an author to "hurry it the fuck up" when it's the final arc where they have to give it their all, both energy and time?

>Shonen Jump editors have fucking double standard.
There's only one standard: it's either profitable or not.
Also, Kubo having set time since the beginning of the arc is something user took out of his ass.

Kubo was dropping in the charts since the Mexico arc.

>Nah. Kubo wouldn't give Ichigo such a sad end. I think the whole happy ending was what Kubo wanted
He's Kubo's favorite punching bag alongside Shitsugaya and Hisagi.
If he gets off to Ichigo's suffering so it's plausible he'd have him end up suffering for eternity ala saint seiya. It's also an ending most people would approve of(unlike Ichihime) so what logical reason is there not to do it(assuming Kubo actually operates on some degree of logic)

Naruto was consistently at the top of the SJ polls through its entire run. Bleach dropped hard from the horrendous pacing in FKT arc and the Fullbringer arc was the final nail in the coffin. If Kubo didn't have this insane fetish for giving equal spotlights to side characters and just chopped out the Fullbringers entirely then we could have gotten a proper finale. Kishi did the one thing right in that he kept the focus on the characters people liked and wrote off the ones people didn't.

>Kishi did the one thing right in that he kept the focus on the characters people liked and wrote off the ones people didn't.

Also endless Sasuke dicksucking. No matter how much hate Hitsugaya gets he'll never be a fraction of the trash characterization that is Sasuke Uchiha.

But all the popular characters in both series are absolutely insufferable though.

>Saucegay tries to kill everyone and helps to start a fucking war
>he says sorry and everyone says "ok, no prob"
This was fucking stupid.

As dumb as it is and as much as I despise Sasuke, the Ororchimaru thing will always be worse.

Orochimaru and Kabuto are free on the same basis. But to be fair, Mayuri also never pays for his crimes.

>Mayuri
>crimes

Name one. By the way the soldiers he blew up were Maggots Nest criminals.

There are no criminals in Maggot Nest.

If you include Boruto and post canon content. Sauske is the most developed character in the series

What crimes?

He's more loyal to the seireitei than most of those lousy captains.

Where was this stated? If it's the truth then it's a pretty dumb retcon. It shouldn't matter who they were as long as they served their purpose as soldiers.

>Aizen went back to jail
Why?

It was definitely Kubo. All mangakas have to deal with shitty editors. All mangakas have to deal with shitty schedules. All mangakas have to deal with health issues.
Only Kubo uses them as an excuse for the poor quality of their manga.

*was

>people complain about shounen going too easy on villains
>people complain about Aizen being kept in prison

Truly a testament to shounenfags never knowing what they want.

Orochimaru getting away with everything was definitely the best thing about the end of Naruto.

Unless it actually comes back to bite everyone in the butt, it really isn't since Oro's so pitiful now.

forgot about kubo, Narita is our future

>pitiful
He is best girl.

No Himawari and Bordo's aunt are

user is talking bullshit. Mayuri was tried for what he did, but C46 found him innocent. Because C46 is dumb like that.

I only want Aizen to be happy.

>Kubo's health crisis that was mentioned in the sob story was 5 years before the ending
No, it started around 5 or 6 years ago and it was worsening, and he has had to cope with it during the rest of the manga.

But Aizen is happy. Disregarding what his actual situation is, he is too delusional to not believe that everything is according to keikakub and thus he will always be happy. And even more once karma will catch up to Squad Zero.

>implying Aizen's actually mad or sad about being in jail

He himself said he has all the time in the world and that he'll be back out when everyone's long dead. The only things he should be mad about are jobbing to Urahara and Yhwach

What's dumb is sending one of your top fighters to prison over the deaths of worthless fodder.

Trips checked

...

Middle looks best.

Ichigo will be dead too.

>This thread again

And it was Aizen, you peasants.

Ichigo is best looking shonen protagonist.
Aizen is best looking shonen antagonist.

too bad they didn't end up together.

Final arc ichigo looks really good.

One of the novels

Because he did nothing wrong

Except he clearly had an end game with the Quincy. Did you NOT read the first two arcs and all the attention they got?

Also there is 4 good arcs in the series which are Pre-Reaper, Soul Society, Arrancar Arc and 1000 Year Blood War. What are you on to think only 2?

That's not end game, user. All Kubo did was lay thousands upon thousands of breadcrumbs throughout Bleach for it to be milked which is one way to handle a long-running series. The fact that LN's are coming out proves that. Besides you're not addressing that user's original point, being that Kubo was never able to capitalize on Bleach's original success which is an undeniable fact.

Went from ugly thugdere to pretty tsundere

Yes it was the end game. All the Quincy introduction, backstory, motivation and basic powers were in the pre- reaper arc.

Then in Soul Society arc, we had the final villain in manifestation form, more powers, and a final release form with more exposition about them.

And it's clear you don't have any idea of what is "capitalizing" even is.
