If he followed Altair's plan strictly unlike Aliceteria, yes. Finding creators is clearly not a part of Altair's plan (Blitz was excused of it since she liked him), and he was basically so tired that he decided to leave the thinking to the closest authority.

Honestly I think he just sat inside his mecha and slept for 6 months. Blitz would have talked a little sense into him if they had any extended contact.

One thing I never understood is whether Altair's hideout is in the real world or not. They stayed there after Mamika's MSF which would indicate they're not worried about being discovered. That suggests the hideout is not in the real world. If so, maybe Altair did something to dissuade Charon from leaving until ECF began. I wish this had been covered in more detail in the show.

Maybe Altair lives and gets a bit of Setsuna.

I think Hiroe said it was in the frontier between worlds. It also seems to be the only place without a real world counterpart.

Calling it now. Setsuna's spirit is released and she has a final goodbye scene with Soda. Altair is redeemed somehow and becomes a normal human. She then shows up as a new student at Soda's school.

Setsuna probably loves Altair a lot like a daughter and doesn't want a revenge plot whereas Altair probably wants to die for Setsuna. She'd want Altair to live and enjoy the life that she didn't.
