Was the F/A adaptation shit?

was the F/A adaptation shit?

The source material is shit, so obviously the adaptation will be shit.

fpbp

They're doing their best. Last episode in particular was quite kino.

It's somehow even worse. Sasuga A1.

Least in Fate Zero and Fate Stay Night UBW the masters in the show were pretty cool and interesting but this series....so many masters and servants I just don't care about. I don't even like the protagonist. Hell the most likable character is Achilles and that is because he is a 2nd rate Gilgamesh knock off.

Every fate show I've tried was unwatchably bad but the girls are all so hot. Why.

because it's originally a porn game

I don't know. I couldn't bear to watch it anymore after the battle between Siegfried and Karma. Fate is suposed to be about strategic battles, where the servant with more knowledge about the other wins the battle. That battle had only random explosions. I know the source material is shitty, but I think A1 coul've done a better job.

Don't worry the prisma movie saved fate.

Karna is also supposed to be a top tier final boss level servant that's overpowered as hell like Gil. He should steamroll everyone. I gave Vlad the BOTD as they threw in the Romania buff thing but my belief can only be suspended so far.

And even so he was almost defeated by Sumanai...

For Sup Forums every anime adaptation is shit

who's the protagonist?

The homunculus

>strategic battles

I would say it depends on the class. Assassins and casters have to play 4D chess and jump through flaming hoops just to come close to competing with the saber/archer/berserker/rider classes.

Yes, Astolfo tried his best but is correct

He's a Cu knock off not a Gil

Fe will be worse

>UBW
>masters in the show were pretty cool and interesting

Which ones? Shinji? The school teacher that barely emoted? Caster's original Master that died in a flashback? Illya who didn't even appear after the first fight, and died immediately when she did?

The school teacher may not have been that interesting, but he was pretty cool.

I like him.
But, I don't like very much that homunculus turns into him.

No. The source material is shit, so the adaption actually improves it by adding some visuals. They might've made the writing a bit worse, but really, nothing of value was lost.
Seeing shit fights > reading shit fights. Seeing shit characters > reading shit characters.

I like Berserker's master. He's nice.

>so many masters and servants
Servants, I get, but "many masters"? Most of those were killed off without a scene. Fate/Stay Night had masters that mattered. Shirou, Rin, Sakura, Shinji, Kuzuki, Kirei, Bazett, Zouken and Illya. Not even counting Caster and Caster's original master, despite him getting a few scenes.

As someone who has actually read through Apoc I can't understand the amount of vitriol being directed toward it. I mean it certainly has its flaws but it's just weird. I remember Sup Forums creaming themselves over spoilers back in 2014 and even up until the anime got announced it had a decent amount of fans as well as naysayers. But now it's just everyone parroting one another and piling on about how shit it is. I swear once F/SF gets an anime you'll do the same for it too. Maybe I'm just an Apoc apologist so whatever. It's not that bad. My biggest gripe with the anime so far has been with the sound design, particularly during explosions. What the hell were the sound engineers thinking?

OP has good taste. Atalanta is the cutest.

>What the hell were the sound engineers thinking?

>I can't understand the amount of vitriol being directed toward it
Anons don't like that their waifu took the dragon dick and isn't pure any more.

idk but Atalanta is shit for sure

At least Achilles ain't black
