I dropped this show after like 4 episodes when I found out every single one was going to be the same

The appeal of the show is for actual food connoisseurs, the fantasy is just an icing to the cake that makes it more fun.

just like the appeal of a battle shonen is satisfying fights or a fanservice show is tits&ass. isekai shokudou is about appealing food and how it motivates people, it actually made me try to cook up some japanese-style hommelet rice in the mornings too.

I love spaghetti but they tend to be overpriced for what you get at these places. Cheaper and more satisfying to make your own, albeit not as fancy but hey, Nekoya's not a fancy place anyway.

I'd probably order Japanese Eel Rice or the chicken variation since despite being a "western" diner, it seems to skew more towards Japanese soul food. Hamburg Steak might be interesting as we don't get that here.
