It was fucking garbage, the best thing about Death Note was the constant battle between Light and L trying to outsmart each other, for that reason when Light loses his memories the show drags for a little bit before it picks up again shortly after, and just when L is finally on even grounds with Light after learning about the Death Note he fucking dies and the Death Note NEVER recovered

The only ''fun'' thing about DN was the L vs Kira trying to outsmart the other one. The whole premise was interesting but they focused it with stupid and cheesy reasoning to pander the teens (because yeah, shonen).
DN is a 5-6 before L died.

I DO think the ending fit though. It was a satisfying end. But truly it was SHIT. Not good. I did not enjoy it, post L.
