The fact that so many Sup Forumsnons still name Lucky Star as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" SOL ever only tells you how far SOL still is from becoming a serious anime. Mecha critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Macross and TTGL, which were not the most famous or viewed or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Shounen critics rank the highly controversial Jojo's Bizarre Adventure over Dragon Ball which was highly popular in viewers around Europe and South America. SOL critics are still blinded by commercial success. Lucky Star sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Mecha critics grow up watching a lot of mecha of the past, shounen critics grow up reading a lot of shounen of the past. SOL critics are often totally ignorant of the SOL music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that Lucky Star did anything worthy of being saved.

Read your own pasta before you spaghetti it all over Sup Forums you monster.

>Macross and TTGL

What's your point? Mecha is basically the jazz of anime.

>Mecha critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Macross and TTGL
Interesting.

Where?

>Mecha critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Macross and TTGL

No, I'd say mecha is more buttrock of Anime in that young boys, dudebro types and autists are the main consumers of mecha
source: I like mecha

fucked up idiot

I thought mecha was for little kids. All that gundam jazz is immature as fuck.

A lot of it is and children are the main fanbase of a lot of them. Not there that there's anything wrong with that, considering how popular KF got and it's literally a Japanese versions of Nick Jr shows that are shown in the morning.

>a serious anime

Lmao

There's something wrong with that since Sup Forums is an adult site. I don't expect people to discuss the latest episode of pokemon/beyblade on here either.

>. I don't expect people to discuss the latest episode of pokemon

...

She throws like a girl.

They do discuss those anime though on /vp/, and it's an even bigger shitshow than KF

/vp/ is known to be invested with children though.

this is exactly how I feel about kumiko

>Dezaki died of cancer in april 2011
what did he mean by this?

I remember when Macross was one of the greatest jazz musicians. But now Macross is just jpop idol.

I re-watched Lucky Star recently. Still as good as I remembered it being.
