It seems that Brazilians claim Brazil doesn't have a race problem or is "post-racial." Maybe that is the case, or at least that is true as far as such a thing is possible. Basing the affirmative action on the school district would be interesting to see. Since most of the arguments for environmental discrepancies evolve around the fact that blacks have to go to "bad schools" so if that is the case going straight to the root of the problem is the correct course of action. When you go straight to race you are implicitly saying that the root of the problem is actually race

The problem they emphasise is 'discrimination', which of course must be solved by discrimination. This implies that if you're poor and white then you absolutely deserve it because you're so stupid you can't succeed even with all your white privilege, which explains the complete disdain for homeless white veterans etc.
Of course these policies are only going to lead to lots of brown people struggling to get by in universities because the actual discrimination in admission to these bastions of liberal thought is very low, so they'll either have to lower standards or face protests like you see in all the American and South African universities.
The worst thing about all these policies is that they can't even entertain the alternative hypothesis because it's a thought crime.
