Maoyuu Maou Yuusha

>expect a tale about the hero defeating the demon King/Queen
>It's actually War Time Economics and Agriculture: The Anime
I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Tax evasion, too.

Also, Episode 9.

That sounds like it's similar to Spice and Wolf. Is it?

it's really enjoyable imo. too bad there wasn't a 2nd season.

yes pretty much. except
>pic related

You feel glad

It's the same voice actors too.

I actually liked it a lot. also USELESS FAT

...

How's the manga like so far? I haven't read a chapter yet for almost a year?

A little bit. It's more macro economics and development though.

I liked how they borrowed a whole lot from the New World trade and actual evolution of serfdom in the HRE for stuff to use.

I've so many of these gifs from a few years back when the anime aired. Sadly it's on my PC and I'm about to go to sleep. Sorry can't dump.

>that bit where he's trying to show off his power and nukes a mountain in the distance

My rage for the design still not settled.

Seriously the Hero is overpowered as shit. I also wanted to see a bit more of Demon queen's power besides HURR RAGE OF ANCESTORS.

Also are there anymore Manga/Anime/Ln like this where the main focus isn't fighting but focused on the economic/governance side of things? The only one I can think of is the "Realist hero"

I didn't. I expected to actually learn some interesting things about trading or economy I didn't know, instead the author just opened up Wikipedia and copy-pasted how our trade evolution went along, then everyone praised the character for being so "intelligent" and "inventive".
Then they also introduced the potato which conveniently was only found in the demon lands and could only be brought there by the demon lord. (Who once again got painted as a genius.)

As far as this author's works go, I preferred Log Horizon's logistics. And as far as trading goes, I preferred Spice&Wolf's, where I actually came across things which made me go "hey that's neat", like a character removing his front tooth as to look more "harmless" and "approachable" which gives him an advantage in bargaining/haggling and other stuff.

Still it was okay, should've had more interaction between characters and more demon world politics, which were in my opinion its stronger points.

The manga is already finished right if I remember reading it .

It's actually good imo. Just a relaxing phase and different from all those other Maou-hero series.

Yeah that shit was awesome
>D-did I overdid it?
I'll gladly like to see his power at 100%

An actual no holds barred battle between him and Maou would kill everything in that world.

Yes, it already did.

Thats actually one of the main plot points. Sure he can go around mass murdering armies and countries but whats left in the aftermath? How do you rebuild once the war is over? Prevent starvation once it shifts from a wartime economy to peacetime? How do you actually go about saving the people you are fighting for and who should you actually fight for?

He actually points this out in dialogue about how he feels somewhat powerless in comparison to the demon king(queen) when it comes to these issues.

Yeah that's what I like about it. The problem isn't the demon king but what comes after the demon king. All in all it's a good change of pace if you're feeling burned out on the whole demon king story line.

Can Yuusha kill servants?

You must be remembering wrong or you read the RAWs, there are many Maoyuu manga around, but when Sup Forums talks about it then it's the one the got popular, the Comp Ace one, that one did end at 18 Volumes but scans stopped at Volume 14, it was officially licensed and it is at the 16th Volume currently.

That is actually part of his inner drama, the Hero is so strong that sometime he feels detached from anyone else, like he didn't belong. That changed when he and Maou started their plan.

Deserved a better adaptation without shit character designs.

In that respect do we ever see Maou's true power?

Left > right.

She gets possessed by previous Maous one time, Hero had to fight and calm her down, he had to pull some effort to fend her off.

So aside from that nothing else? I know this isn't that type of show the powerlevel fag in me feels disappointed. Oh well I'll just have to make do with thinking that they are equal

Yes, it's a nice watch desu

She's that strong? I don't remmeber how was her background story, but wasn't she just from a passive librarian clan of demons? Hard to believe they were that strong.

demon is CUTE

...

...

I liked it. It was pretty comfy. Also the LN ended with MC getting both girls which is nice. I only wish the anime art style and character designs were a bit more appealing.

Who was the mistress and who was the legal wife?

It was literally
>'hey, this show is so dense and boring we need to do something to make it more appealing'
>add the biggest pair of tits possible because why not

I was more interested in her tits than fucking economics.

I think they just both agreed to share him.

Maou's the wife

>kid

t. horny virgin

Wait, did he marry the two of them? The absolute madman, I knew he had the balls to fuck both.

...

Will the be forever maids, or will they join the harem

Left looks like shit though, the animes designs were fine as they were.

They "died".

Please explain how a borderline godlike being like Yuusha could "die"

Fuck you, left is way better than right.

They didn't die. They were just transported to either a different world or somewhere far away in their own world.

Sure thing pal, whatever makes you happy.

They got Isekai'd? What happened to the old world?

It's fine, and life goes on for the rest of the cast. It's just that those three in particular get transported somewhere. We aren't sure if it's a new world or it's just somewhere in their own world that's very far away.

Why did they get transferred though?
Or did they just randomly teleported once the problems were solved?

The romances though blows.
The hero is the most interesting character and their development went nowhere.

He could kill Shiki.
Defeating Shiki means he could defeat all the servants.

Even faggy McGoldboy?

The ideas are interesting but the execution is dull.

I remember the OP song and I think the ED was also good, but I don't remember that one.

>can't find a working torrent of this anywhere since nyaa died

Knight > Maou

Sawashiro all the way.

You what ?

>Wait, did he marry the two of them? The absolute madman, I knew he had the balls to fuck both.
He didn't do anything. Female Knight gave him her sword then she went to Demon Queen and asked for permission and she said yes.

New season of this or Log Horizon when? Did the tax evasion kill any chances?

why were the boobs only animated in the first episode?

dropped.

Started watching it precisely for the economics, and dropped it on the first episode. /biz/ level economics on top of Sup Forums tier politics. Complete trash. Oh, but tits excuse everything, I suppose. But then why not just watch a porno?

extremely similar
even has the same VA pairing, which is exactly why i watched it.

Nice virtue signaling there, user.

I can't even tell if you're actually from Sup Forums or just fucking with me. No, really, with Sup Forums being Sup Forums, I just can't.

You are right - they weren't. That was the power of multiple demon lords passing their power when Hero could also later easily kill that blue demon prince but that would result in killing everyone in the nearest fuckton radius.

Yuusha and Demon Lord can't exist anymore in the world as it would lead to another war after the MCs die. By going isekai route they make sure that the gods "curse" of fight light vs dark will stop as their "traits/titles" can't be passed down in original world anymore

LN translator are ded or is slow?

Better than Spic and Wolf

...

How is the hero the most interesting?

Kek. I remember that part.

People actually find politics and economics interesting?

just keep watching your little witches and loli fan service

>Projecting this hard

I barely watch anime as it is.

Spoilers you sick fuck.

Too lewd

Why is she so flat?

When you're voiced by Sawashiro they have to nerf you somehow.

Perflat you mean.

I just finished the anime and really enjoyed it, are there any similar shows out there besides spice and wolf?

The fact that the heroes are capable of WMD-level destruction, but realize that won't create stability in the long run and so go out of their way to do things the hard way was nice. The first thing Demon King does after resisting her Dune-esque ancestral possession is enact a policy to start inoculation for smallpox, for crying out loud.

>>Hero is told demons respect flashy, over the top displays of power
>>unleashes a giant ball of plasma and scorches a mountainside into a crater dripping with molten rock
> "damn, I overdid it again"

Love that fucker

I want that cow to crush me

Left

Superior taste, user.

>too bad there wasn't a 2nd season
yep, he went on to log horizon, damn shame because shit was going to hit the fan with the blue demons and the church conspiring and another war brewing

That's what happens when you can violate the level cap.

I actually picked this up solely because i watched Spice and Wolf beforehand

The Akira Ishida manga had some nice fightan. No new releases in forever tho.

>still waiting for english v17 & v18

...

Mage deserved a happy end.

>Hero is overpowered as shit
>Gets fucked by muskets at 500+ yards

Glad I dropped this shit when happened.

Pick your poison
