Unfortunately moderation isn't something that is common practice on this board.

Lay off the internet for a few days or even a week and do something productive with your time even if it's just trying to be friendly with people in your family.

I see this said a lot but I think the point being missed is that when we say "Sup Forums" as a universality for the people in it it is as correct as referring to the people on the planet as "people". so you saying ">Sup Forums is one person" is like saying "people are one person".

when you refer to a group and you make generalisations there are obviously going to have exceptions at the personal level but this is no reason to disregard the statement being made as it may hold empirical truth.

It's a trial. You lose when you become demoralized, no matter where you choose to obtain your knowledge. Certainty in skepticism and the ability to judge 'Sup Forums' is still on you in your own theory, no delegating to authority and reason should be acceptable for such enlightened skeptics. But that's also impossible.

I only go to Sup Forums and only 3-4 days per week. And read only usefull threads. Not like this one.

It hasn't been to me. I've been lurking since at least 2007 and I've learned so much here that I otherwise wouldn't have known. I'm not even talking about politics either, I mean STEM. If it weren't for Sup Forums, I would almost certainly be doomed to a life of bagging groceries, because I received basically no actual education growing up either from public school or my own parents. It is only by reading the discussions here that I learned about the real world, realized that I was severely uneducated, thus causing me to start working to fix the problem.
