End
Unbelievable. Reebok-sama is actually doing something!
not moe enough
sage
Just finished the Anime. Should I continue with the Manga?
yes
no
maybe
No
It's fucking garbage
I don't mind a little embellishment in historical fiction, even gender bending historical figures like Yotanwa (Chinese Yang Duanhe and definitely not a mountain queen in history...), but it really irks me when major details about certain (real) battles occur...
Particularly who participated (and commanded) in the battle/campaign...
Ousen (Wang Jian) and Riboku (Li Mu) never ever fought head to head... Both generals are amongst four in the closing stages of Qin's conquest of China that never lost a battle where they were in command [the other two being Renpa (Lian Po) and Hakuki (Bai Chi) who was the old head of the fictional "6 Generals" in the manga].
This particularly campaign was actually an overwhelming easy victory for Qin... Riboku did not participate due to issues with the Zhao king.
Whilst I can understand the manga needs action and close battles to keep it interesting, the mangaka could have easily just timeskipped this campaign and work on the next time Qin attacked Zhao where Riboku delivers Kanki (Huan Yi) a massive arse whooping...
RIBOKU'D like a bitch
>Teleports behind you
>jobbing to Riboku in one page
How did he even get that close?
>Riboku delivers Kanki (Huan Yi) a massive arse whooping...
That sucks. We could've gotten to this point so much sooner, but the author had to drag things out.
>going into a thread you dislike
Is there anything more autistic
That's my boy
Can't believe he's actually taking action
The author did say he expects Kingdom to be 100 volumes.
They also need to set Ouhon/Mouten/Shin up to be a part of the 6 general system as well.
So racking up more achievements here will help.
Well, my main beef with this arc is Riboku's presence...
Hara could have easily introduced (and talked up) some new mooks to be killed off like the Wei Fire Dragons if he needed this arc to be dragged out.
I agree Riboku should give this arc for Kisui to shine a little bit after hyping him up at the end of the Kokoyou arc.
Thanks for the dump.Man, I understand china probably has big ass plains but the series use of horses seems to be too much, I'm not sure if its historically accurate nor I expect historical accuracy, but it just feels off. Reebok dude appaearance might just be a one time show to rattle Qin a bit to buy time or just a trick to drag on the fight by the author.
I'm LMAO-ing at all the people on different forums who used to say "Riboku is a strategist he can't fight nor hold a sword and he made a promise never to fight"
>pic related reminder
We've always known Riboku could fight though.
I hope Shin kills him this arc and becomes general.
Kingdom used to be my favorite series, but I had to drop it because of the powercreep.
>all of China wages war on one kingdom
>that one kingdom is able to repel their advances
>next chapter it is revealed that one of those kingdoms had super secret imprisoned generals who are demon general lords of godness and are able to outmatch all other generals and oh no fuck we are getting are shit pushed in
No. You motherfuckers survived a coalition of all of China. You cannot reveal in THE NEXT FUCKING CHAPTER that one of coalition had SUPER DUPER GENERALS that were imprisoned and were now unleashed on the country, wrecking shit when the coalition of EVERY OTHER KINGDOM could not.
Riboku is cool guy but yeah, I'm getting so fucking tired of Zhao being able to pull out new super genius generals every arc.
No way he's getting anywhere close to Houken yet. matter of fact I don't think Houken will appear at all in this war, Riboku will defend Zhao on his own.
I actually don't mind embellishing minor conflicts as long as major details (like the inclusion of major figures which didn't really didn't participate in the battle) aren't added...
Riboku's inclusion in the coalition arc irked me a bit since he wasn't part of that either... (in fact very little is recorded about the coalition other than it fell apart itself due to politics).
The following Wei arc you're complaining about... the Fire Dragon mooks are talked up in the manga to give it extra spice, but really weren't big shots in history...
Story telling wise, I don't mind this since having Qin walk over everyone else (which is what basically happens from now on) is quite boring... Qin was always going to be conquer the other kingdoms once Hakuki (Bai Qi, figure head of the fictional "six generals") won the battle at Changping which happens prior to everything in the manga and anime.

>No way he's getting anywhere close to Houken yet.
He made humiliated him the last time they meet. Whenever their next clash is, Houken is going down.
Hell no man at that moment Houken was just shook by a random kid rushing at him to die. Plus his was fighting Kyoukai and a whole bunch of Hi Shin Unit at the same time.
There will be another timeskip and Shin will probably be a 30 years old General when he faces Houken in the final fight.
Reread the fight, after Shin joined it turned into a 1 on 1 and he got him twice. Houken even had to get some distance from Shin. If Shin wasn't half-dead, he'd have raped him.
And without Hou Ken.
I can't wait until Riboku get out of jail free card dies too.
Ah yes just another convenient Riboku asspull
What next, are we going to cut back to the sieged city where Kanki is not aware Riboku has actually recruits all the people inside into soldiers and they run out to overrun them
Oh man, that's some ass jobbing.
>Triggered Qin soldiers.
There's no asspull on Riboku getting close to Makou, it was all planned before the war even started.
The build is is in the chapter. Everyone's focus was diverted to Kisui, with Makou ultimately ordering his whole army to storm the hill which would make a lot of noise.
It also contrasts how Shin put up their flags because Kisui was on the hill thus prone to being able to see around him very easily, while Makou is at the bottom of the hill with poor vision as his surroundings are constantly shifting thanks to his army marching up allowing Riboku who has no flags with his detachment to pull off what Kanki did in the coalition war. So long as you ride faster than the guys who realized what's going on they can't do shit given how loud everything is.
Why is kingdom not popular on Sup Forums? I feel like at 500+ chapters it's doing way better than other long running series like naruto or bleach.
>LMAO
>people on different forums
Kill yourself.
What seems to be the problem?
Sup Forums fags would rather talk about Fate's Astolfo and his dick then Kingdom.
I think Shin is a little below his level atm but should be able to hold his own, maybe even manage to kill him with some of that power of friendship bullshit
Meant to reply to
If you are referring to the Wei fire dragons, 2/3rds of them got raped by shin and ouhon, so they weren't exactly wrecking shit
