You all have no fucking idea just how fucking fucked everything is. Remember what you did during the election, all that collective magick you created an egregore. It's time to meme a Carrington event, it's the only way for us to have a fighting chance against the absolute insanity that's about to come down on us, as a one-sided slaughter. Meme a Carrington event, and you can catch (((them))) and their technology off-guard, even the playing field. Do it.
Faggot mod: This is political as it pertains to current events, and is much more board-worthy than the other 10 BLACKED and e-celeb threads you have up.
The solar storm of 1859 (also known as the Carrington Event)[1] was a powerful geomagnetic solar storm during solar cycle 10 (1855–1867). A solar coronal mass ejection (CME) hit Earth's magnetosphere and induced one of the largest geomagnetic storms on record, September 1–2, 1859. The associated "white light flare" in the solar photosphere was observed and recorded by British astronomers Richard C. Carrington (1826–1875) and Richard Hodgson (1804–1872). The now-standard unique IAU identifier for this flare is SOL1859-09-01.
A solar storm of this magnitude occurring today would cause widespread disruptions and damage to a modern and technology-dependent society.[2][3] The solar storm of 2012 was of similar magnitude, but it passed Earth's orbit without striking the planet.[4]

To be more specific, right now just try and get "Carrington event" into Sup Forums's usual conversation. Like in some thread where X politician does Y, say "I wish a carrington event (or solar flare) would wipe out everything so I could stop hearing this shit." Something to that extent.

Why though? Technology keeps me warm and makes a lot of things a lot easier. What's coming that I'd be better off in the dark ages?
Also, wouldn't the damage only last for a few days / couple weeks while things were repaired and replaced? It's not as if the storm would erase mankind's knowledge of computers.

A lot of shit would take years to rebuild, however we also have a lot of spare parts in EMP proof locations so I think we'd be mostly fine technology wise
Trucking would suffer, so lots of people would probably starve
