Yeah it was annoying. She was my favorite thing about Negima in general and I would have preferred her to be the protagonist of Holder since most of her backstory is still missing and unlike Negi she never got much internal characterization. It would've also been a bold move to actually pull through with her sacrifice instead of cheaply undoing it.
Alas, now she will be utterly irrelevant and probably never seen again.
