Buddy tribute monsters are just bad in general and need to be really strong to make up for that. This one costs a tribute and doesn't even stay. The only reason it is not completely trash is because it came out really early when shit was still weak.

But it's literally the arguement, tribute summoning isn't bad if the deck was based around it and had synergy like True Draco or Monarch. When that card was released, Stardust Dragon was every where, that card has no place in petdeck let alone meta deck

One of them had a skeleton themed deck, so of course he had those and he had the Servant Skulls ones. He was pretty fun but honestly most of his cards were there for fashion. I miss when Stardust Dragon was just released. Now it's so complicated with Xyz, Pendulum, and Links. I'm also still butthurt they nerfed Shooting Star Dragon so badly. There was nothing wrong with its anime effect and now it gets caught by Machine Emperors defeating the whole purpose of Accel Synchro.

Well, we disagree here. For me the constant opportunity of levelling the field and taking 2200 life points out of my opponent with one tribute is better than just one opportunity of doing it with no tributes. That said, you can have both cards. But Dark Dust Spirit is better imo.

Yeah, i used to do that. Then flipped, summoned another monster, direct attack. Goes to my hand. If the opponent cannot kill my monster in field, i could sacrifice him again and summon DDS again, either allowing a second 2200 direct attack or just face down to try to repeat the strategy later. It worked for me back then.
