Gash was fucking awesome. It's had an omnibus release somewhat recently, I picked up the first volume from Animate a few months ago. I'd like to complete my collection.
Did you read Jump last week? They published the number one entry from the Future Gold Cup and it seems like it's heavily inspired by Gash Bell. Main character is a high school aged guy, and he has a little guy who looks like Gash following him around. Instead of a book he has different seals/stamps that he uses to make attacks.
