One of my relatives runs a non-profit adoption agency. Her stories are the ultimate nature vs nurture red pill. Most of the kids are screwed from birth no matter how well an adoptive family takes care of them. Bad genes + drug and/or alcohol abuse during pregnancy guarantees a loser kid.
