Is my body sexually dysfunctional when I see young girls in their 2 piece bikinis and get disgusted at how much skin they are showing? What were the National Socialists doing in the pre-war years mate? Massive increases in aggregate government expenditure and expanding their territory. Moving into Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland etc... lebensraum. Their economy was way over-reliant on government expenditure and territorial expansion. The only reason why Germany didn't collapse economically is because the Soviets made it to Berlin.

Lebensraum was never profitable, it was mostly theoretical. The Germans barely held territory in the East, they certainly never developed any or made it productive. The bulk of economic policy and government spending was not geared toward "territory expansions". They didnt' purchase territory, for example: they acquired territory from Chzechoslovakia, and then Austria voted to join their territory with Germany. After Germany and Poland went to war, obviously, they acquired part of Poland -- all that slowed the German economy, which was designed around domestic production, not war. War wasn't something that Germany sold to anyone, so it wasn't a significant source of national income.
