KIKU CAME IN KONATSU

KIKU CAME IN KONATSU

unforgivable ending
retroactively ruined the whole series

Only watched S1, but I regret putting off for as long as I did. It was great.

Might as well stop there. The story is good, but the supernatural side gets a lot more focus and it really brings down the quality.

The absolute state of Rakugo

...

too much shit taste and lies in this thread

The ghosts were stupid and you know it.

Age gap sex is so hot. It's sad that they couldn't just be together as lovers.

I hope they still kept fucking on the side after she married Yotaro.

I want to cum in Konatsu.

I wanted Kiku to come in Konatsu when she was still small and cute.

Yota is a cuckold. Literally raising his wife's son while being completely in the dark.

Yota is probably happy that he gets to fuck Kiku by proxy.

My Wife's Son's Dad Is Actually My Wife's Adoptive Father And He's Also My Master?!

Didn't the writer say that even Yotaro noticed how similar Shin and Kiku are?

Yota should fuck Shin so he can get even closer to Kiku.

I don't get why people get upset by this implied ending. Konantsu fucking Kiku is perfectly believable and it doesn't ruin their relantionship, shit happens and most importantly Kiku's bishounen genes didn't get lost.

Since I just got spoiled for this, I may as well ask, since I dropped the show because it was getting too depressing. Does Kiku die in the end?

...

>most importantly Kiku's bishounen genes didn't get lost
This. Mistakes into miracles.

Yeah. He meets Sukeroku and Cunt in the afterlife

Then he grew up to be a faggot.

Getting Komatsu to voice this kid was cheating.

Yotaro may been a criminal on his backstory but Konatsu knew him as a nice guy so she was definitely fucking Kiku on the side

Perfect.

Christ, I don't know if I want to go through with this.

Too bad his sister was nowhere near as cute. Must be because she's not into rakugo.

By the end you kind of want him to go because of how long they drag it on.

Personally my biggest gripe is Japan's obsession with bloodlines show its ugly head once again.

I don't like Yota giving up the Sukeroku name to take on Kiku's. My biggest gripe with the series really.

It was weird having their reunions in the afterlife be so undramatic, but I appreciated the happy ending.

Why Kiku never accepted he wanted to fuck Sukeroku all along instead of Miyokuchi?

Well, I've never been dead but I think all the shit on life stop mattering once you're dead

Yota is a cuck

He can't be a faggot if he has the good taste to want to fuck his little sister.

I don't remember that.

A reminder for the normalfags that don't want to believe Kiku is the father.

I don't mind that he's the father. I'm mad Yota isn't the one.

>Yota isn't the one.
The one what?

I imagine she mounted him once in a fit of passion and he was morbidly into it, then they swore to never speak of it again but the damage was done

Yota has weak genes and Japan is ruled by literal nazis. Not including this show was based on a josei manga

But Yota fathered the hot daughter.

But he didn't father Konatsu's firstborn. This is crucially important.

Women are useless. See the entire show

In retrospect, I cannot believe Yota didn't fucking die here.

I'll never understand why people got so mad at the reveal, especially since those two didn't even have that much of a daughter/father relationship. The only "daughter/father" moments were the flashbacks that one could count on their hand, and depending on who you ask, the final scene between them before Kiku passes on. Hell, it's even stated in the manga that they never acted like a family when Konatsu moved in, and that it felt more like a roommate situation. Even when they do decide to have sex, Konatsu is already over 18 and well into her early 20s; she's been in love with him since her teenage years, and finally went for it.

Also the fact that Kiku actually fucked, and impregnated the child of the two people he was in love with will always make me laugh for some reason.

>Also the fact that Kiku actually fucked, and impregnated the child of the two people he was in love with will always make me laugh for some reason.
Reminds me to Karekano

>It was weird having their reunions in the afterlife be so undramatic

The afterlife scenes were kino as fuck. Very bleak, melancholic. I loved it. It's a great rendition of the Japanese afterlife

I only watched the anime a long time ago. Who is that? Was he a rival who appeared after the main love interest?

Really. I wonder if Kiku told the Yakuza boss before or after this scene about what was actually going on.

DERU.....DERUUUU

I get chills down my spine just thinking about the "candle going out" scenes, especially the last one. 10/10 anime.

It's "kieru."

hell yea he did

This. It genuinely makes me sad to think about, it was all set to take a spot in my top ten but the last episode ruined it so thoroughly that I basically erased it from my brain. I thought about it for the first time in ages a few days ago and I couldn't muster up any good feelings about it, despite adoring every moment up until the end.

>Sukeroku and Cunt

I kek'd

>Even when they do decide to have sex, Konatsu is already over 18 and well into her early 20s
You don't know when they started having sex. All we know is that that's when he impregnated her.

I'm kind of okay with it though because it kind of feels like Kiku lives on, in genes and in rakugo. These people were so closely connected with each other that I'm not surprised it turned out like this. You have to look at it in a symbolic way because realistically it is fucked up.

Christ, I was thinking about the original post earlier today. The trauma will last forever.

That was the face he made when he came inside her

And this was her face

You know she made that face while doing all of the work while Kiku just lied there and took it

Can't believe my stupid post became a meme.

Fuck Japan and muh bloodlines

>Japan is the only one who muh bloodlines

Did he basically take in Yota because he reminded him of Sukeroku and enjoyed the perverse idea of fucking his daughter while Yota is living in the same house?

>enjoyed the perverse idea of fucking his daughter while Yota is living in the same house?
Literally what?

It's about revenge from his personal perspective. The young guy reminds him of Sukeroku, who was his friend and rival that cucked him, so he fucks his daughter while the unknowing substitute lives in the same household. That also enforces the idea that the actual Sukeroku might've been ignorant about it if he were alive.

>Red hair
>Beautiful sharkteeth
>not as cute
So much shit taste in this thread

>black wavy hair
>blushing face
>genki and smart as fuck
>shota
>not the cutest specimen you ever done see

Sister is maximum over cute

It was obviously a one time thing.

>That also enforces the idea that the actual Sukeroku might've been ignorant about it if he were alive.
If Sukeroku had lived, do you think Kiku still would have come in Konatsu? I think he would have.

He would have come in Konatsu and Sukeroku would have come in Kiku.

This will never stop pissing me off.

>kino
Fuck off, retard.

What beautiful symmetry

For a moment I honestly thought that Yotaro's friend with the glasses and black hair was the father, because of how Konatsu looked at him in the hospital and he said
>so, you finally looked at me

>the supernatural side

It's all in Yakumo's mind, genius. Also, if you didn't cry at the farewell scene in episode 11 of S2 you're a faget.

I don't think it happened more than once, or maybe just a few times until they were sure Konatsu had conceived, and there was definitely no romantic love or even much sexual attraction involved. She probably went to Yakumo outright and struck a deal with him - he killed her dad, so he can make it up to her by letting him live on by providing the genetic material for a superior rakugo baby, and he gave in for various reasons.

Literally the fucking opposite of that. He implored Konatsu to let him be a father to the baby knowing full well that the biological dad was someone else.

Get your sophomoric "lel cucks desu" mindset away from this show, the grownups are talking.

>there was definitely no romantic love or even much sexual attraction involved.
Mangaka literally confirmed in an extra chapter (that she tweeted for fans to please read because it was that important) that Konatsu fell in love with Kiku when she was a teenager.

Mangetsu has a fucking Louis Vuitton man-purse; he's the gayest man in the show by a country mile.

>he's the gayest man
The anime showed us that he had a crush on Konatsu, but the manga put more importance on it. He always had a thing for her, and always wanted to make a move, but never did.

Do we know how exactly Kiku felt about her? I kind of had the impression that his feelings were also romantic or close to it, just that he could never be with her or anyone for obvious reasons.

I have, and I don't think that contradicts what I said. There's no indication that she was in love with him like that as an adult. People can change as time goes on; it's a central theme of the story. The attraction and the romantic attachment she felt for him may have lingered but she had a lot more resentment, so I don't think romantic love was a secondary reason or even a tertiary one for sleeping with him. The affection she had for him as an adult, while considerable, was different.

Only if you have the mentality of a bible belt teenager.

>Do we know how exactly Kiku felt about her?
No.

>kind of had the impression that his feelings were also romantic or close to it
Disagree since I think the only people he had romantic feelings for were Miyo and Sukeroku, but to each their own.

I know she wasn't around for long but don't forget about poor O-Chiyo-chan.

Oh boy, Rakugo thread? This show's amazing in ever single aspect. I'm one episode away from the end, and I'm going to miss it dearly when the journey is over.

Post moments that made you cry. This was the first one for me in part 2. Yota is such a great guy.

>It's all in Yakumo's mind, genius.
That's what everyone assumed until Kiku finally died and Sukeroku debunks that.

>This show's amazing in ever single aspect.
>I'm one episode away from the end
Yeah, we can tell

>I'm one episode away from the end

>I'm one episode away from the end

If you're talking about the paternity of Shin, I already know; I've read the manga, and regardless of how you feel about that this was a near-flawless adaptation and a wonderful experience overall.

I was nervous during that entire segment because I thought she'd mess up. It was pretty heartwarming.

I think he accepted it.

Get your doujinshi out of here.

He's such a catch. Their wedding photos scene was the cutest thing in the goddamn universe.

This is one of the most unappreciated anime out there. I honestly think it's one of the best anime ever made. I rate it 9.5/10. Everything about it is so unique and fresh.

I miss a show like Rakugo so much.

are there no pure maidens in this show?
