>Amazon not paying taxes somehow has something to do with Pedos'R'Us and Maplin having unsustainable businesses
Don't worry Goy, you still need those Hundreds-of-Thousands of Immigrants per-year! It's so your labour force doesn't have a few thousand unfilled job openings in 40 years when automation and globalization destroys a huge portion of the job market.

>On a serious note, we had a mega-chain in Canada crash that was basically Good-Walmart, minus the grocery/food save for a few niche/snack things *maybe*
>Closed nationwide lost 12000+ jobs

>Pic related

>anglos have literally a website called big black cock cuck

Who cares, UK is lost get over it.

>Amazon not paying taxes
They don't owe them, so why should they pay?

They're unsustainable in the current market in that the liberalisation of borders for trade makes it easy for huge companies like Amazon to dodge tax and mistreat their workers then just pay any fines they incur since its still less than any tax they'd have paid.

They get to charge unfairly low prices, companies like Toys R Us have to compete with these prices and don't turn enough revenue to stay in business

That's like saying that we should follow any law even if its stupid. The fact that they can easily exploit the law to not have to pay the taxes their competitors do is a problem and its leading to loss of jobs in developed countries when all the work is moving to shitholes

Probably has more to do with the British government banning anything fun, including toys.

old news
they're now in administration
those 5500 jobs are up the swanny already

The tax is owed by the purchaser, not the seller. Bitch about your tax-dodging countrymen, not Amazon.

Why didn't toys r us do the same thing then? Oh that's right they made poor buissness options and got beat by a superior company.

Doesn't help that the prices of toys these days are... ridiculous as it is without company price-gouging to make the consumer pay for the shipping/handling and then their workers wage to maximize profits.

Don't get me wrong Amazon's business practices are horrid, but it also serves as a catalyst for red-pilling people on the lies of globalization being "good" and "Muh Immigrant Workforce in 40 years" being utter bullshit when the jobs are all automated or outsourced to shitholes.

This isn't globalisation, fuckwit.

This is the end product of parents giving their children electronics instead of toys. Children used to play with Action Man and Barbie rather than sit on YouTube watching Power Rangers or Powerpuff Girls, but today the technology is so cheap and widely available, parents prefer to buy their children something that will keep them quiet for indefinite periods of time.

This is a problem caused by Consumers, and a great example of how Capitalism works. These jobs will be replaced in the next few years by the tech sector.

Amazon never paid taxes and was never responsible for creating those jobs so they can't be responsible for the loss.

Fucking idiot b8 thread.

Thats totally retarded, kids have always watched TV and videos etc as well as play with toys. I have a cousin whos a young child and he still plays with toys as well as watching kids shows on an iPad when he has to eat.

Electronics and toys are both used by kids and its been like that since the 80s

But Toys Rus went bankcrupt in america first

And Walmart was killing TRU for years before Amazon became big.

5000 cashiers will move to tech jobs Lmao

Kill yourself apologist
