Our intel agencies sure did a good job instituting mass surveillance. Barely anyone knows it exists or ever thinks about it. Even if they do know, they probably don't care or even LIKE it.
If I walk up to someone and say a basic fact, such as government and corporations can use your phone as a tracking device or microphone without your knowledge, they look at you as if you're schizophrenic. That's not even much of a red pill and it is still completely unknown to the ignorant fucks around us. This combined with the mainstream propaganda machine with unending bread and circuses is one hell of a control mechanism.
You have to wonder 2 things: 1) how are we uniquely able to see past all of this and 2) why haven't they arrested or killed us? Are we no threat to them? Are they worried about getting shot? Are there other uses for us? Do they have a secret affection or respect for us? If they have all of this power why haven't they decapitated the heads off any potential resistance yet?
This has been really bugging me. What are your thoughts Sup Forums?
>2) why haven't they arrested or killed us? Who's going to believe you? The more people you think you're "waking", the more they'll put you in the insane asylum.
Liam Sanders

Jose Cruz
This would lead me to believe that we're not a threat to them so they're okay with us knowing and discussing it amongst ourselves
Jason Garcia
Yes, mainly because you have no power, no money, and no blackmail information against the people you want to overthrow.
For every 1 person that's trying to expose, there's 10 people trying to throw stupid crazy shit into the public, mostly social. If you like pissing in the wind then keep on truckin'
Kevin Gomez
>how are we uniquely able to see past all of this We're not, a lot of other people see it too but are so completely overwhelmed by the scale of it that their only option is to avoid considering it and hope that the issue resolves itself.
>why haven't they arrested or killed us? Because we are absolutely no threat to them. So much that even when we say 'them', we don't really know who 'they' really are. The people they are interested in having leverage over are the up and coming stars rising to political power. It doesn't matter who the public votes for in the slightest when you can blackmail either party. Either way, what the fuck are you going to do about it? Nothing.
Ian Johnson
Martyrs open many more eyes than talk.

And they're not worried that exposure of corruption will weaken their grip? Even if not on the average idiot, then on people who understand what's happening and the significance?
If we were to run a successful exposure campaign targeted at people intelligent and powerful enough to would that change their calculations?

Name something in the last 50 years that was "brought down" by "exposure" >hard mode: it has to be something or an event that wasn't reborn or dissolved into splinter groups and one of those groups capitalized right back up

Haha. Let's just break this down CIAnigger:

>why haven't they v& us oh noes! Just look at who's here. Imagine how much shit would be straight broken. Functioning autists are the ones making your computer chips, power stations, data networks, etc. viable. Replacement costs would bankrupt even the kikes.

Blake Nelson
>The people they are interested in having leverage over are the up and coming stars rising to political power
of course they blackmail everyone rising in political power, but it only works if they have things to expose and can expose them in a way that makes sense. If one of us runs for office, are they going to make our shitposting public? You can just say you have no idea what the fuck these posts are and you've never seen them in your life.
Sure they can make you fuck a kid on tape at comet pizza before you get party funding but what are they going to do? Release the tape?
Chase Hughes
1) You aren't the only person to dislike or know about mass surveillance. Sup Forums isn't the only place in the world that people know about this stuff. 2) America isn't a police state. They can't arrest and kill people at will. Snowden did have to leave the country, though.
Adam Mitchell
Lol I'm not CIA. I'm just trying to grasp what the situation actually is here
I can't off the top of my head, to be fair. Maybe the Podestas and Clinton Foundation? But not really. something that relies on not being known to exist is different than secret practices of a known entity, though

Of course people outside of us know, but this is the only place the topic is discussed openly and brutally honestly. That is true of most topics though
Sure, but other than firearms it seems to be somewhat free because intelligence agencies haven't started punishing thoughtcrime. SJW fags can socially attack you but to stamp out the problem for good they'd have to kill us and don't. I don't know why

No. It is very obvious to anyone who isn't worried about the next Kardashian episode.

They leave us alone because it is not a danger to them that we know about the surveillance. Have you ever wondered how with all of these eyes on every single person that the Establishment can continue to have the likes of Jaffer, Podesta, and Hastert running around without getting caught? The goal is to brownstone people not arrest them.

My only thought is that you're right but at the same time the way you say it can be logically debunked because our intel agencies are not above the laws of physics and obey the same laws of conservation of energy and bandwidth. If intel really was spying on you 24/7 with your phone, you'd be drawing a lot more power on a battery and engineers would notice this and build a better phone or identify what is leaching the power draw. Similarly, engineers and tech savvy people would be able to identify extra signals in their wifi/cell packets. The spying is more selective than you think, while I'm not denying the existence of certain dragnets that gather all possible data they can get 24/7. AI is going to be the real game changer for them since it can preprocess all the junk information and intelligently notice certain people or ideas crossing their sniffers.
Connor Wilson
that's fucking hot, she'd make a nice submissive
Lincoln Russell
Maybe they do not know what makes us different from the average bugman. I've met a lot of Pollacks, and believe it or not but this board is multicultural as fuck, whites and black and browns and Asians and Jews, from all over the world and each with a very unique life. The idea that we're all fat neckbeards on our parent's basement is just wrong, and the intelligence agencies do know it. Maybe they keep the chan as a honeypot, to gather more data to feed into their algorithms and see if they can finally figure out what made us see past the smokescreen. Only after that it would make sense for them to come after us

This is the product of right wing propaganda scaring people 24/7. They are willing to give up their privacy to be safe from "terrorists". Right wing media is the downfall of America. Usually those who yell the loudest that they care about freedom are the ones over compensating for something. This is a right wing board and lots of people have talked about how they wouldn't mind an authoritarian government. They are like Malfoy, they think they know what they want but once they get it they will be 10x miserable than they were before.

That's all there is to it. You can be a sheriff and quote the Talmud right in the camera's face after a school shooting, even knowing that the Talmud alone got Jews kicked the fuck out of countries before, but nobody important cares. Those who do, have no power to stop it.
Tyler Hill
>If they have all of this power why haven't they decapitated the heads off any potential resistance yet? they don't have absolute power yet. the thing about this kind of subversive take over, they need to do it gradually enough that they can erode our rights one by one until they reach the point where we can't afford to fight back. the genetic weapon of mass immigration from undesirable parts of the world is a major component in the subversive takeover. the undesirables can't sort out the corruption in their own government, so they are a perfect weapon to slowly weaken the native population until all we care about is cheap toys and muh dick. they're trying to turn us into a slave race where they can go "see? they can't make it on their own. we need to control them for their own safety."
Alexander Rivera
to further on this point, the surveillance capabilities are more of a tool used to fight dirty against political opponents so that they can continue the march towards our inevitable conquering.

There's nothing new under the sun. Globalisation has been tried a few times. Alexander. Poisoned by his own people. J. Caesar. Stabbed to death by his own people. Insanely powerful men have tried all ways of wielding power. But It's safer in the shadows. That's what they have learned. That's why you get a media lie instead of a machine gun pushed up your nose.

>2) why haven't they arrested or killed us? because to most people you're just a lunatic, and you haven't committed any crimes since thought isn't technically illegal
Julian Myers
They are compartmentalised mostly. The civil service directs them here constantly (they never change no matter who you vote in to be 'supervisors' the politicians aren't in direct OR long term control). That's why it doesn't make any difference which icing you elect. Underneath it's always a turd cake. I'd like to give them an inquisition. That's where the secrets and all the 'arcane' knowledge is. I'm not certain what constitutes their equivalents in your countries.
Nicholas Hall
Isn't the data pulled from cell towers telecomm companies and device companies specifically to take the burden off the phones?
It could be that they don't have the information to differentiate us from anyone else other than our presence here
That's becoming clear. Maybe, to people with minds like ours that will withstand pain for truth, they just openly let us know what's happening. Maybe they figure that will keep us happy. Plus it must be fun being able to tell someone on the outside what youre up to and watch their reactions
>Malloy >Harry potter reference >kill yourself
Well if that's the reason why then I can stop worrying that they're going to kill us all. At least for now
Sure it "needs a warrant" but they can make up some stupid shit or fabricate/buy fabricated evidence to justify one like they did with trump. There really is no oversight
>just hope they are as racist as us It would not be surprising if they WERE us, but with a security clearance.
Who would have been capable of removing them anyway? nobody on the outside really
I just don't understand why they'd prefer starving serfs as their people. Power, sure, but there's nothing interesting about being the God of an anthill when you can be the king of a mountain with free people
This is why our would-be rulers wear khakis instead of crowns
Robert Smith
Nope, Brasília. There's a Sup Forums WhatsApp group, that's where I met most people I know from pol (and no, it isn't only Brazilians - Hell, we only have like three Brazilians or something)

They couldn't even catch a cold. 17 dead kids in Florida show the state of surveillance, alright. The FBI is a failure on every level.

They didn't care to stop this guy. Why would they? In government, failure is rewarded with more power. Now they get to ask for more surveillance and greater background checks into who is buying guns.
Dylan Jones
mk ultra is and always was real, and was never discontinued is my thoughts on that. they announced they had been doing it for years, then they made it legal, and suddenly -NO ONE- cared. its like the film enemy of the state, or the point it had, never existed. you ever beat off in the shower? its none of your fucking busine-oh wait nevermind.
Carson Gutierrez
>to most people In my experience that's a media meme. Maybe I'm just fantastic (I suspect I'm not) but nobody disagrees with me vehemently or for long. Even complete communist toss pots on protests in the high street that I've bothered to talk too move towards your position if you give their brains truth. It's the oxygen of the mind. You do know how the media works, how they study everything, how they have learned to create and control fashion, how they spend such a massive amount of money on the science behind the images and lies which you are bombarded with all day. They usually work by pretending everybody already agrees with them, that's how you shill for fashion, ideas and ideals we are told we can choose off cuff are merely fashions. A good example were the polls predicting a 90% win for Mrs Clinton. They have a thousand other tricks, the promises of popularity for emulation of a certain behaviour or for making a certain purchase are good examples. But there's three type of people for me. 1) The lost. Oxygen starved, truly believe that what you said is true and everybody shares their position and therefore because of that it must be true. 2) Those with the survival instinct to pretend to be one of the lost in a official situation, but who resent it. They may even use it to their advantage but they see something is badly amiss even if they do not realise the full extent of what's going on. 3) Us.
