Buddhism has heavy roots in the Aryan traditions (Scythian tribe and inspiration from Hinduism which is descended from the PIE religion). Have any of you ever read Trungpa? He paints the true picture of Buddhism, not the "let's all pick flowers" picture white leftists portray at as [ironically the portray Buddhism as some sort of fashionable accessory]. To be clear, I'm not a Buddhist but I think it is important to read about European Pagan religions, Hinduism, and Buddhism.
Trungpa seems to agree with many of the views of life I see thrown around on here: >Freedom to go after desire is bad >Life is suffering, disappointing, and impermanent and that is good >We are not individuals only >We must be heroic, patient, and follow tradition
Not all of his views are alt-right and for sure not all that Buddhism teaches is alt-right. But for what it's worth it's interesting to look into. Evola also had am interest in Eastern ideas. These ideas speak to us because they are more Aryan than Christianity. Buddhism and Hinduism are closer to what the original Indo-Europeans practiced. Aseir, Asura, and Ahura Mazada: Nordic, Buddhist/Hindu, and Zoroastrian.
>alt-right buddism just join the crowd and go pagan you coward
Logan Rivera
>they are more Aryan than Christianity Not true. Christianity is Zoroastrianism framed within the Judaic context. Christianity is just as Aryan as Hinduism, which is simply Aryanism mixed with native Hindu paganism.
Kayden King
I'm not even Buddhist (as I said) you fag. I am also not sure I'd call myself pagan. All I was trying to say is we can learn a lot about how our Aryan societies should be run based on the ancient wisdom of Aryan religions
Michael Murphy
Christianity is Semitic as fuck. I'd be okay with a positivist Christianity but let's be honest it has very little connection to most IE religions. Other than monotheism the similarities between Zoroastrianism and Christianity aren't that great. And if you are saying it's okay to take a bastardized and jewified version of Zoroastrianism why not through out the Jew version and just go back to ethnoreligions.
I am not calling for white people to become Buddhist or Hindu or even traditional European forms of Paganism. I am saying we could reconstruct the sort of religion the original Aryans would have had. That means all the Aryan religions are very important for us to study.

Too much buddhism will bring you to a place of nhilism that will make you complacent with the destruction of the white race and civilization. Too many years thinking of higher dimensions and everything being just energy will do that to you.
Evan Peterson
I absolutely agree with that. I have that same criticism of Buddhism. The Acetic life is essentially the life of doing nothing. If everybody were to be a "good Buddhist" Buddhism would be wiped out because deep down there is a lot of nihilism in it.
For this reason Hinduism is better I think, and most European Pagan traditions. But that doesn't mean that all of Buddhist thought is retarded. And there were warlike Buddhist societies as well. Trungpa is sort of nihilistic though

I fell out of reading it after a few chapters, but you'd probably enjoy Doctrine of Awakening

I'll check it out

The ideal Buddhist individual is free of desire and attachments. So no family, no job, no friends, no possessions, no art, nothing. Just sitting around being as much like an inorganic object as possible. It's a fucking joke, against human nature, against the idea of Good, and against happiness.
Xavier King
No, it isn`t.No, it won`t. You clearly don`t know what you are talking about.
Luis Edwards
Thathagatas are born After they consider and know These five things: the time, The country, the continent, The family, and the mother.
Not saying I fully disagree with you but to say it's more of a joke against human nature than modernity is stupid
explain?
Daniel Wilson
AHAHAHAHAHA. Mutt wisdom.
Evan Wilson
explain Hans

why dont we just create our own branch of religion, mormons did it, Christians and Muslims did it, jews did it shouldnt be that hard to find like minded people
Leo Young
Look, George, you can have a family, a job, friends- and still be a buddhist. Buddhism does not mean nihilism, not at all. Am I a buddhist ? Buddhism is about gaining control of your own mind. Makes sense to me.
Andrew Martinez
I think we should do our best to reconstruct the Proto-Indo-European religion
some people are already doing that. That is the ethnoreligion of the Aryan
yeah you can have a family, a job, and friends - sure - but your not going to achieve enlightenment like that. Don't forget the Buddha himself quite literally abandoned his wife and children lmao.
Also to live the ascetic life and not withdrawn from life is to be like a maggot according to some sutras. You can be Buddhist and fuck prostitutes and watch porn and shoot heroin - but you won't achieve enlightenment.
Eli Fisher
ive been thinking you could literally just add "Jesus was born to a greek convert" and it would stop the jew worshiping thing. Its not even that far off since the jews were expelled for converting people around the time jesus was born
How about you read the Greeks before buddhists? Reading about Indian stuff is cool and all, but a waste of time if you don't know your own roots. It's dilettante shit, and only proof you don't take your own roots seriously. A waste of time, basically. If you want a hands on guide on expectations and stuff like that(daily living), read the stoics, not Brahumandapana Sriapnumapuma
Tyler Roberts
i agree, but there is some stuff in there thats kind of important. Would it really hurt to add and eastern texts as books to a new bible? I was thinking the Dao would be to better define what god actually is.
Cooper Nelson
ACKCHYUALLY, you can be a Buddhist and whatever else at the same, albeit not in the same respect, since Buddhism focuses on one's interiority in a way which other religions do not.

Im white, and I am an "own path" Buddhist. Meaning I am exploring life in my own way, learning, etc while also heeding the teachings of Buddhism with a grain of salt. They were meant to be guides, not rules. You do not have to follow them. Just keep note of the consiquences of all life decisions you make, and learn from them. Passing them on as wisdom.
I learned the importance of tradition, and values a few years ago. How ingrained it is in people. Which is why I fear Islam, because it discards modern wisdom in a return to the past. Unhealthy for modern society. But certain aspects of tradition are essential for function. Finding which ones, is the hard part.
