Why is the Sharingan so OP?

Most of the top tier characters in the verse have it, have some sort of evolved form of it, or desire to have it.

Wood-style is just as OP because those were the two genetic powers passed down from the Sage of Six Paths

it just kept getting new abilities as the plot demanded

Why is the Byakugan so shit?

It looks cool.

This did not happen with the Byakugan

Isn't Rinnegan more OP?

If Naruto took Nagato Rinnegan with his huge chakra reserves he would have been ridiculous

Yes, but couldn't any Sharingan user eventually achieve Rinnegan?

So even still...

Linear vs Quadratic

Sharingan starts out with you being able to anticipate movements slightly ahead of time and very basic genjutsu and evolves into the cluster we know it to be today

Byakugan starts out pretty OP; can see miles ahead, through walls, behind you, see clones, break through genjutsu, and can still track high speed movements, but then you can only improve its existing abilities.

Because they needed a way for Sasuke to keep up with Naruto after his endless bunch of fox related power-ups

Why is wood style OP? Or rather how is it?

This video sums it up perfectly on why the Sharingan is absolutely ridiculous.

The Rinnegan can't use sharingan techniques though.

It could with Madara

>Can control restrict tailed beasts/jinchuriki as good as sharingan taming
>Wood clones more OP than shadow clones and can take a beating
>Regeneration powerful enough to the point where you don't need food or water to live
>Can reconstruct an entire battlefield to your advantage

In a user with as much chakra reserve as the first hokage you can cut right through that susanoo bullshit the Uchihas have

This. He really should have. Anyone more pragmatic in Naruto's place would've done exactly that. I'm sure Konan would've handed the eyes over peacefully too, he's the Chosen One after all. Imagine Naruto's Chakra Mode except he can also use all Rinnegan moves from the get go. Plus he denies Obito his Rinnegan that way. He would've probably BTFO'd Sasuke hard if he had Nagato's eyes from the start. Probably even before he got EMS.

bedause at some point any power needed by the plot came from the sharingan or was just an evolution of the sharingan anyway

Imagine Rock Lee with Byakugan

Rinnegan require Indra and Asura/ Hagromono/ Otootsuki chakra to awaken.

Also isn't the Tenseigan the Rinnegan equivalent to the Byakugan and isn't that pretty broken too? The only reason Naruto won against Toneri was because he couldn't contain the true power of the Tenseigan.

Because the author has no idea how to plan ahead.

imagine ur mum with my dick in her

>Naruto never learned Wood jutsu
Failed potential, tbqh

Because Naruto was the main character and Sasuke was his rival.
The Sharingan started out as a really good eye that could see chakra, hypnotize people, and had such fast perception that the user could basically see the future.
Now it can create fires that never go out, become a black hole, make the user intangible, turn dreams into reality, turn reality into dreams, and summon giant robots made of fire.
Why? Because the Sharingan was all Sasuke really had going for him, and he needed to be the rival to Naruto, who had an ancient fox with a fuckton of chakra residing inside of him.

it was gene based naruto can wood jutsu even if he trained the fuck do you think was orochimaru and the clone guy who can wooden justsu

Wood style wasn't passed down from the sage. Asura had a Chakra Avatar.

Wood Style is just something Hashirama had.
