Must be boring to hear this every time a vrmmo series getting adapted and shit, but is the mc a gary stu? Or at least his way to be godlike is a slow journey and written acceptable enough, not the usual "mc got a unique skill", "rare 0.00000001% drop", 'mc is an anomaly!!11!oneone".
...
He gets hella lucky a lot but the other top tier players (of which there are dozens) could easily wipe the floor with him even ten volumes later.
Heck one of the first things he does after unlocking his sword waifu is go out into the woods and get ganked by a high tier PKer.
...
Also Embryo type (transforming girl) is uncommon, but it's not unheard of either and there's a number of other characters who meet the conditions also have girls as Embryos, it's not like a once in a generation unique thing. And a lot of her capabilities are very situational. If there's any garu stus, it's his brother or the trap English detective pimp kid.
And that's that for this chapter.
Hope they don't take another three weeks to release the next one.
Seems pretty nice,I dont mind mc getting lucky but hopefully the author made his lucky finds staggered far between each other. Hows the harem situation if there is any?
There's only one heroine, but romance is almost nonexistent anyway.
I dont mind a harem but just like these "lucky find" the author better put out some distance between them. I read a couple or two chinese/korean gary stu stories becoming god, what they do better is putting out buttload of words or chapters in between the "lucky find", girls or the stepping stones for the mc to further advance.Unfortunately the length can be shit and story can be repetitive, which then made me drop them anyway. Thanks for dumping user, will read the first chapter then revisiting this thread for the second chapter.
I wouldn't say that it's about lucky finds, it's more that so far the situations he finds himself in (at least in the first two novel volumes so far) happen to line up well with his and Nemesis's capabilities. He's still a lowbie who would die pretty quickly to a serious threat.
>2 volumes
Is the series just started? Seems pretty fast for it to get manga adaptation, must have been a good one to get picked from the rest.
It's on volume 5 in Japan, the English translation is on volume 2. It was recently voted the best new series of 2017 in Bookwalker's poll and HJ's chief editor went balls deep in promoting it.
He used his ability to kill a high-tier monster when he was at level 0. His skill has so much potential it's kind of bullshit but not absolute bullshit, because it's a bit situational.
