I'll make the argument for Kira. He's just so nonchalant about offing people, like its just something he does in his spare time, that it's honestly fascinating to watch him cope without doing so in the second half of DiU.

Not only that, his justification turns out to just be "I feel like it." I have a hardon for villains without huge, complex shitshow motives. Kira has no plans beside keep killing when he wants to and stay hidden so that he can live his life otherwise. Not to mention his Stand is probably one of the best designs in the series, both power-wise and aesthetically.

Technically, Griffith wasn't who he was before becoming Femto. He clearly wanted Guts to fuck off so he could convince him to fight by his side when he was redirected, and he also lost every bit of humanity when he made the sacrifice.
