AOTY

Initial D but with moe grills, urban setting and synthwave

Initial D but with less racing and more interpretive dance

That's actually good.

Well, since the best arcs in every shonen are the Tournament arcs, why not create an entire shonen based only on a tournament arc? a 26 episode series.
>16 characters + some secondaries.
>They all got a superpower. Something simple, mostly elemental stuff.
>They all have got a big wish that will come true at the end of the tournament.
>They all have backstories.
>none of them is protagonist, you can cheer for whoever you want (At least at the begginig)
>All backstories are different enough for different kinds of people to relate to at least one of them.
>no obvious "bad bad" characters
>no obvious "good good" characters either
>some of their stories are connected, but they don't really know of that
>at the end of the tournament, some are dead, the winner got his/her wish, but even some of the others got to solve their problems inside the thing
>End of the tournament, most of them go back to real life, having forgotten about the thing but with those problems solved. Or maybe, just a vague hint on how to solve them.

I'm no writer but i would love something like this.

some B movie from the 80's, but with cat girls

that sounds horribly messy

/u/ would hate or love it?

How is that messy?

Ehem...

Little girls.

Anons! I've discovered the formula on getting published!

>First, make it isekai. No matter what people say, it's always isekai that gets published.
>Second, make a long and absurd tile. (eg. I isekai'd the whole of Sup Forums into a different world and now they are hunting me down with their cheats.)
>Third, make the blandest mc possible so that people can self-insert as him. As to why he was chosen to be Isekai'd out of the many more hardworking or talented people, just ignore that.
>Fourth, thirsty slave. That's right, loli slaves or busty slaves or both, as long as they are constantly thirsty for him despite how weird he behaves. Be sure to draw them as lewd as possible or hire an ero artist to draw them.
>Fifth, only focus on making the first part of the first chapter seem good. It's ok to published an idea you have without even thinking it through before writing it. An unpolished work is always good.
>Sixth, give mc ridiculous cheats. Screw understanding your limits through proper training, give them the rpg system!

playing chess?

/u/ is going to love it at first then btfos them with the bait and switch at the end

Actually, weird that nothing like this exists yet. Would watch.

When the earth is in ruins, Loli ruled the world.

IDEA 1
Craftsgirl : The hammers test

Our MC is a girl who is interested in making friends in her new class. She is very energetic, careless and also flat-chested. As a result, she often ends up breaking people's cherished possessions.

She stores damaged objects all throughout her home. These pieces of damaged furniture and other items scare her, emitting a strange aura due to their damages. She can see this aura due to the teachings of of her grandparents. They taught her that each piece of furniture and houseware should be respected.
One day the spirits guide her to an old magazine that features her grandparenents repair shop, now she desires to repair these items to honor her grandparents.but she has no skills or tools.

then, she hears a loud hammering and the whirring of power tools coming from her neighbor's backyard. When she goes to look, she sees her classmates cutting wood and building furniture. Inspired by their skills (and big boobs) she asks the other girls if they could give her guidance in the art of furniture repair.

Every day she learns the ins and outs of DIY construction and repair, and uses these skills to restore her possessions, healing the objects' auras, and as her skills grow so too does her chest

There's quite a few yuri one-shots with that exact premise.

especially one where the lesbian ex decides to corrupt the straight girls daughter

>The Strongest in the Universe!!

One day, a giant meteor the size of Ohio crashes down on Earth and releases multiple beams of light, whoever these beams hit gets incredible supernatural power. People start to capture the beams in bottles and etc and sell them for money, while others harness this to become mighty warriors. Soon, beings from other planets come to Earth to get this power for themselves and it becomes spectacle all throughout the Universe as everyone competes to become the strongest being in the Universe!

Enter a young child named Rikito, a martial arts enthusiast who wants to gain incredible power, he is able to by being gifted a deus ex machina of his late Grandpa's fortune, he buys some power and sets off on his quest with his scam artist/perverted Sensei(Yamada) and his former enemy turned best friend(Kiba)

Oh and they have a friend who's a ninja

basically a satricial version of your typical shonen manga

drive vans and kidnap grown men while fighting other tribes .

Cute girls doing cute HEMA things

Hey i actually have an idea like this for a comic i will never do.

did you steal my idea?

To riff on some of the posts that include a *chan in them, as well as posts based around on isekai story, this story begins on a certain board.
Somebody posts a CYOA image as an OP post, and people... well, start choosing according to their own tastes. The thread eventually goes down, and at that moment every user that posted in that thread feels as if his body is being invaded by an unnatural presence. Something cold, but at the same time, living seems to enter their bodies. Their bodies begin to shiver and twitch, and they lose consciousness.
It's a fantastic world out of a fantasy novel. Everything could be touched, and there are no JRPG, or RPG mechanics in sight. No health bars, nothing.
The anons that have picked the absolutely same choices are grouped together the worlds that they chose - there are usually about two or three anons per world; some have more anons in them, some have less.
Some people play out the classic JRPG Hero role together, some become merchants, some become writers, some become explorers, and some just explore the local pleasures of the flesh. Everybody has found something to do. For the first half of the anime, the human nature and psychology is explored. But then, at the second half, "God" descends and tells each and every one person in the many worlds that if he makes an interesting story, he (and his allies) would get freed from this world.
The problem? Most people don't want to leave. The people who want to leave follow in the steps of countless other stories - there's almost nothing original in whatever they are doing. Some take more interesting and novel paths to freedom, but that still feels like something people have seen before. Most "stories" are just of people adjusting to their new daily lives in this foreign world.

Standard isekai start, where group of highschool students get summoned to play hero.
standard stock introductions to the royals and celebration.
introduction to the magic/power system.
end with them being escorted to there rooms rooms.

Chapter ends as all of them die of poison at night as the maid escort reveals to be the real MC and a demoness that specializes in assassinating isekai heroes before they get out of hand.

spends the next few chapters as develops her cover in the next nation that's planning on summoning. Side effects of the other nations dead isekai heroes in the guild chat. Side chat developing the actual situation between the different nations and the demon nation.

Muv Luv altenative but change the BETA design to oversized lolis.

I have like this big idea that i like, really wanna share, but it's way too long.
I will just say that it was born from a simple tought: "¿How would you creat an scenario similar to SAO if you did it IRL?"
So, here's my contribution. Have fun thinking about it.

Also, excuse my bad english. I'm an ESL, i still have to work on my writing. Other reason why i don't share the whole thing.

A nerd girl puts her answers in the wrong row of her test, ends up in remedial class with a bunch of troublemakers. She doesn't think highly of them at first, with them bullying her to be their gopher of sorts, but as she helps them out pass their exams, they start forming a bond of sorts. She discovers that one of them can't study because of his part time job, and another is having divorce problems with his parents, and still another is actually a former ace like she is, but now learned how to act like a Yankee after being bullied severely in middle school.

>30-something year old manga artist draws a teenage school girl
>one night the drawing comes to life
>MC is very affectionate towards her but she's kind of a tsundere
>she's self aware and constantly accuses him of being a pervert and a rapist which he always denies
>MC slowly breaks down her defenses by spending time with her, playing video games at home, taking her around toward to the park, to the movies etc.
>she begins to grow affectionate to the MC and eventually tells her she loves him
>MC is happy but starts acting strange. he refuses to kiss her or do anything remotely sexual. he still likes holding hands and hugging her though.
>MC and girl gets closer and closer. the closer they get, the weirder MC gets and the more depressed he gets.
>in the last episode girl finds MC drinking bourbon alone in his room on a stormy night. he's holding a photograph of a his younger self holding a little girl that looks a lot like her
>it's finally revealed that the drawing was based on his daughter who got hit by a truck and died. the girl looks exactly like the daughter and has a similar personality, but at the same time it's not really her and she's kind of her own person now
>girl cuddles up with the MC and they cry together
>in the morning MC finds the girl gone and the drawing on the floor besides him. he just smiles and thanks her as the scene pans to the outside of his house with a bunch of cherry blossom trees in blood

>Title: Boku to Watashi
>MC-kun has crush on school hottie, but is too dimwitted and otaku to have a chance
>school bully finds him practicing asking her out in the mirror and films it
>or so it all seems
>sends it to crush
>she likes him back
>she confesses she likes him too, but
>plot twist
>she's trans; biologically male in all ways but appears feminine enough to pass as female, and does so
>double plot twist
>"he" is also MTF trans; has had surgically created vagina and has grown decent yet concealable breasts, but appears and sounds too masculine to pass so presents as male
>Both start a friendship and become closer and closer over time as each helps the other through their insecurities and fears, eventually resulting in an explicit romance between the two
>Heartwarming and realistic, in a similar vain as Hourou Musuko
>the best part:
>the internet goes to war over whether or not this is gay and whether or not it is gay to like either character
>Are they gay, both identifying as women?
>Are they straight, one having a penis and one not?
>Are they gay, both being born male?
>Are they straight, one presenting male and the other female?
>Same applies to liking them
>is liking the female-appearing one still gay?
>is a male-born person who looks male but has boobs and a vagina a trap or a reverse trap?
>and hence, is liking them gay?
>Sup Forums has a civil war with 35 factions fighting over the ultimate truth
>there are few survivors

Sounds like some sort of shojo harem.

Its your well known isekai story, but is also battle tendency, ok, let me explain.
[Arcana Warriors]
MC is a high school student, charismatic,
a bit pervert and awfully smartass, one day a hot goddess appears in front of him and tell him to follow to another world, because MC reads a lot of isekais LN and mangas he accept... next scene is him in a slave wagon in its way to the slave market,
>"oh yeah, i forgot to tell you that this world doesn't work under JRPG mechanics, oops"
>"You know, you could have told me that FROM THE VERY BEGGINING"
MC is sold to "The empress" as a pleassure slave, he actually liked it at first but with time he got annoyed that "The empress" always punish him for being a steel ball alpha men, so he make a plan to save himself, he waged his life in the colliseum (the other world is in a greco-roman setting), if he win the match he would be free, "the empress" accept, but she have an ace in her sleeve, the man that MC have to fight is "Strenght" a guy capable to increase his physical strenght and size everytime he is atacked, MC end up winning by hitting strenght to the point that he becomes a giant and get buried below the arena for his weight, giving the chance to MC to cut his throat and win the match, after he win, everyone, even "the empress" were impressed that MC defeated "Strenght", the most powerful gladiator in history, after that, he receives a visit from "the hierophant" that challenges him, after being defeated he gives to MC the arcana card "The Fool" wich give MC the capability to summon any kind of hand to hand combat weapon (so no fire arms), MC ask "the hierophant" how to return to his world, it result that to return to his world he have to defeat "the world", the arcana warrior with the power to send him back and was the one who called him in the first place, but before that he have to defeat the other arcana warriors, who are people with special abilities based in the tarot cards...

using nothing more that his weapons and his wits to bullshit his way through outsmart them as he usually do, but not everyone are evil, in his journey he get accompanied by other arcana warriors, his party consist in:
The hierophant: pretty religious, kind, smart but awfully beta, he have the ability to read other people's minds, use telekinesis in non living objects and throw knifes, "the fool" defeats him by thinking in naked womans, making "the hierophant" unable to read his mind, because he can't even make eye contact with a woman without blushing to death due to growing up in a monastery, like MC he also fight using his mind to be one step ahead of his enemies.
The magician: a perverted loli witch capable to use magic, she join the group because MC looked "interesting".
The devil: an assassin capable to use his own shadow to attack and is an expert using twin swords, though he is serious and cold blooded he is also very honorable, he join the group after MC save him from falling in a cliff while they were fighting, "the devil" decide to repay his debt by joining MC's side.
The star: an amazon slave girl with a great physical strenght, when she was young, the army of "The emperor" raided her village and she was captured and enslaved by "the emperor", a man capable to make everyone who hear him obey him unconditionally, she join the group and receive the arcana card "the star" when the MC defeats "the emperor" in a sword fight, MC was able to be inmune to "the emperor's" power because he used ear plugs to not hear "the emperor's" commands, with "the star" she become capable to manipulate energy and she becomes even stronger than before, she is shy, quiet, and is secretly in love with MC.
although is not exclusively about swords, MC uses a sword in many fights, like against death, the emperor, justice, strenght and the world, although he preffers to use other kind of weapons like staffs, nunchucks, and yoyos.

The villiains that the MC fight are:
The empress: a recurring villain, she have an inferior version of the power of the emperor that only works on beta guys, but she also have money.
The high priestess: a woman capable to see the future.
The emperor: a men that control other people by giving them commands
The lovers: a woman capable to make other men to fall in love with her so she can control them
The chariot: a guy with super speed
Justice: a man capable to create defensive barriers and use a huge sword.
The hermit: a guy capable to teleport.
Wheel of fortune: a men capable to hyper focus in other people's twitches, he always fight by playing poker.
Strenght: a man capable to increase his strenght and size every time he is hit
The hanged man: a man capable to fly and use poisonous arrows
Death (my favourite): a necromancer capable to rise the death as zombies.
Temperance: a woman capable to turn people into stones with her gaze like medusa.
The tower: a men capable to turn anything he touches into a bomb.
The moon and the sun: twin sisters capable to use ice and fire powers respectively
Judgment: a prosecutor capable to kill people by declaring them guilty.
The world: power unknown.

It has been 500 years since the last human on earth died. Without their masters to guide them, the robots have achieved sentience and structured their society after feudal Japan.

Enter R-424, a disgraced ronin who suddenly finds himself in possession of a human embryo from a dying priest he saved from assassins. Now the five great clan set their sights on him as every human has the power to force any machine to obey the 3 law of robotics.

Meanwhile, the ronin seeks to atone for his pass crime by following the priest's last wishes and deliver the gestating embryo to a temple/research facility at the top of Mount Everest.

Good luck trying to trapify the vogons

Though I would like to see a version that replaces all sci-fi elements with isekai (could start with Arthur being run over by the bulldozer)

Shouldn't it be more that his reality is slated for destruction (too unpopular with the readers), but he's saved by a planeswalker who takes him on a journey through many different worlds to eventually prove why his world should be given another series?

>anime starts with a boy getting hit by a truck
>he finds himself in a mysterious building
>a beautiful goddess tells him that he is the chosen one and that she needs his help to save an alternate universe
>boy looks over the goddess' shoulder and sees a huge line of kids his age standing in line. some kids walking around in the background wearing futuristic power suits, others wear medieval fantasy wizard outfits, and pretty much everything in between. not one of them seems happy.
>boy stares at goddess suspiciously. goddess smiles nervously, sweat running down her face.
>all the characters are dead and they use this mysterious building as a hub in between adventures. in the afterlife, the dead can either choose to be reincarnated like normal, or they can work as Agents of the Afterlife, doing missions in alternate universes where the good/evil balance is out of whack and the only way to fix it is by sending dead teenagers to offset the current balance. by completing missions, they earn points. and the points can be used to change the circumstances of their next reincarnation. the bigger the request, the more points they'll need.
>one character is a magical girl that wants to use her points to be reincarnated as the most popular idol/pop star in her next life.
>another character is a bad ass stoic feudal Japanese samurai who wants to be reincarnated as a little girl who has a harem of other little girls. he breaks his stoic character whenever he talks about little girls, gushing like a degenerate neet otaku shut in when describing their tiny bodies and flat chests.
>while the whole deal seems nice, the Agency is seen as a bureaucratic nightmare full of red tape and paper work. the job of the goddesses is to use legal loop holes to try to deduct as much points from each agent's mission to drag out their services longer because the Agency is understaffed and they're kind of dicks

The last son of an ancient clan of exorcists and demon hunters is called upon a job. He has to pose as a high school teacher in order to kill what ever has been harming the students and faculty. He is made the history teacher kendo club coach of the second year students, and he homerooms Class 2-C.

It follows the basic Negima formula. Our hero gets a collection of studentse and school staff to help him fight the low level spirits in and around the school. While also having to deal with kendo tournaments, exam prep, and a harem romance subplot. The class trip is to his Clan's ancient mountain village. Where he equips and trains the ones in the circle to use ancient clan relics. While the others enjoy a hot springs vacation and mountain hiking.

Then we find out the Big Bad is an ancient Oni that has been the clan's enemy for 2000 years. the oni set this all up to lure the last son away from the clan's sacred lands where the hero would be strongest. So the oni can rid him self of his ancient enemy for good. there is a twist with the oni's human collaborators at the school. it isn't who anyone would suspect. unless you paid attention and filtered all the red herrings.

we find out who the winner of the harem is in the last battle. the winner by pure accident strikes the blow that seals the oni away in her relic weapon. which she could only do because she is already pregnant with the hero's son. so the clan's power flows from the fetus to the mother to the relic. the relics can only harm oni unless there is a male member of the clan using them. otherwise they are only good for fighting lower level spirits.

>Be Brett Felt

>Bullied because of his stupid name, never had any friend
>Heavy online presence, shitposts on a site called "5san"
>One day, his "friends" (people who treat him like a slave) dare him to try the new normie fad, a summoning ritual like bloodie marie except it's said have turned people into serial killers since as early as 540 B.C.
>Accept, gets all the required materials and performs the summoning in the dead of night.
>Actually works.
>Demon comes out and grants weapon of mass destruction that gets stronger when he kills the souls of those he holds dear, turning him less and less human in the process.
>All of his real friends that he actually kinda likes, are made online.
>Goes on world trip to kill em off one-by-one, which becomes harder over-time as he is transformed into a demon and people become visually frightened of him.

This is the plot for a comic/manga (depending on how trashy of a person i am then) I am planning to someday illustrate, what do you think Sup Forums?

Could be, if you want to keep the fact the earth gets demolished.

But if you want to have the remake go in a different direction
> MC (Arthur) dies via bulldozer, ford failing to hitch a lift just before the earth got destroyed, or at any other point in the series, and gets sent to another world.
>gets the guied has a new origin in where it was created by the ancient gods, so they wouldn't have to deal with having to be involved with the whole business of people getting sent to different worlds and could more focus on godly stuff.
>unfortunately all the info in it was contributed by all the other people sent to different worlds that had nothing better to do and need some cash.
>most of the events from the series play out, changed slightly to fit a fantasy setting.

>why not create an entire shonen based only on a tournament arc?

Shaman king?
Gash Bell?
Fate/Stay Night?

It's been over 500 years since the human race almost went extinct at the hands of the fearsome and mysterious "Beasts". The surviving races now make their homes, towns, and cities up on floating islands in the sky to keep out of reach of all but the most mobile of Beasts. Only a group of young girls, dubbed the Leprechauns, can wield the ancient Dug Weapons needed to fend off invasions from those dangerous creatures. Into the peoples' unstable and fleeting lives, where a simple call to certain death could come at any moment, enters an unlikely character: a mysterious man who lost everything in his final battle five hundred years ago, and had awakened from a long, icy slumber. Unable to fight any longer, the man, Willem, becomes the father those kids never had, caring for and nurturing them even as he struggles to come to terms with his new life, in which he feels the pain of helplessly waiting for his loved ones to return home from battle that his 'Daughter' once felt for him so long ago. Together, Willem and the leprechauns gradually come to understand what family means and what is truly worth protecting in their lives.

UNABLE TO CONFESS

>"yuri" anime
>one of the "girls" is actually a trap
>neither audience nor the other girl know it until the very end
>the boy's motivation is that he's weak and girly, so he decided that if he wants puss he needs to go around the problem and go for untapped potential in lesbians

That's... not bad actually.

Of course it would totally depend on the execution.

It's the story of an angel who wants to prove God he can still believe in humans.
So God reincarnates him as a human so he can see how cruel they are.
As a human the angel will loose his memories but keep his nice and pacific personality, he'll then report to God once he dies.
Something goes wrong in the process of turning him into a human and he keeps some angel parts in him and he has to deal with it in the human world.

The story would revolve around the angel/human discovering his abilities and trying to understand what he is while being confronted to the harshness of the world.
it could even be a mystery during the whole anime and be revealed as a plot twist in the end once he dies.

>boy is in love with a girl
>accidentally discover she's part of a masked idol group
>one of the girls gets injured and can't tour with them
>girl asks boy to dress like a girl and to become an honorary replacement for injured girl
>boy agrees so he can spend more time with girl
>the bulk of the anime is the girl turning the boy into a trap. teaching him how to put on make up, how to walk like a girl, shopping for underwear so they can figure out his underwear preference
>outside of school, MC spends most of his time dressed like a girl in public just doing normal girl things with the girl he likes and the rest of the girls in their idol group
>one by one all the girls start falling for him, with the exception of the one girl he actually likes because she's completely oblivious to his feelings
>eventually all the other girls set aside their feelings for him and decide to cheer for him in his pursuit for the girl he likes

>All this autistic stories
What a great thread. Some of them are better than others, but shit, please keep on going.

Well far into the future, an android wakes up after being stuck in a chasm for untold ages. Heeding its primary directives, it seeks out humanity to serve. What it finds is a world empty of all humans. Though there are still lots of stuff left by humans. The android starts collecting little trinkets and mementos. Letters, audio and video recordings, and internet files. These provide the only voices of the series. As the android only speaks with whirrs, clicks, and beeps.

what the android collects also provides insight into several great human ages. all of which provide a possible reason for why there are no humans around. though none of them are the definitive reason and you never know chronological order of the events. There will be things like a great war, an epidemic, space colonization, environmental disaster, and transhumanism. sometimes the collection flashes back in the same area several times.

the android starts doing things to "help" the humans in his mementos. taking cues from what he has read or watched. he starts doing thing to fulfill those long dead/missing humans' dreams and wishes.

as the show progresses, you get a sense that huge amounts of time pass between episodes. As the color palette and scenry changes. starting out in rich colors with lots of blue and green. Showing nature retaking the land from humanity. Then progressing into reds, orange, yellow, and brown. As everything starts dying, rusting, drying out. The sun gets bigger and redder in the sky. The android it self starts looking shiny and new. Then decays and suffers break downs. eventually the poor android is left barely functioning. laying on the ground and looking at a letter and photos.

to fill in for the lack of dialogue. there is a constant orchestral score. Very heavy handed and thematic to get the proper emotions across. though in the last episode the score fades out into almost pure silence. the last ten minutes or so is only environmental white noise.

There is a manga about this but it is gay...

We recolor Fate/Stay Night 2006 and slice it down to 12 episodes.

From NEET to CEO. The story of a NEET struggling (and succeeding) with trying to become a successful person.

It basically a SoL that shows to actual NEETs how to behave properly. So it'll teach the viewers how normal people pick up girls, have a normal and active sex life, how normal relationship works, how to study on a consistent basis, how to behave properly when working, how to do various mundane things like paying your taxes, cooking and keeping your hygiene in check.

>MC is a young teacher and it's his first year teaching middle school
>also he is an avid history bluff and a WWII enthusiast
>one day he sees a girl in class doodling an oddly detailed drawing of a German tank
>MC and little girl strike up a friendship over their shared love for military history
>he invites his student to his WWII reenactment club
>eventually the two fall in love with each other
>can love blossom in the battlefield?!?!
>OP is a jpop cover of Pat Benatar's Love is a Battlefield

>bullied
>has friends
It's shit.

People can get bullied at school and still have friends in other places,

This sounds like it'd have great potential as a comedy anime, with over-the top editing, and a narrative style addressing to parents in the form of a documentary.

Overall like the idea

>student exchange program
>Japanese westaboo goes to the United States
>American weeaboo goes to Japan

Plebs.

That sounds more like a walking sim.

Wait the boy or the truck?

Want to further develop a previously posted idea:

In Japan there is a strange phenomenon that is happening to an increasing number of girls.
Some unknown factor is causing young girls just entering puberty to suddenly mature.
In a matter of weeks these tweens and young teens develop into full grown, voluptuous women.

Since they are still mentally immature the government sets up special schools where these 'ume girls' (so called because the ume, or plum, is the first tree to flower in Japan) can be around peers and so they can get special instruction on how to cope as grown women in modern Japan.

Ume Girls would probably be a cutesy-girls-doing-cutesy-things type of show, except with super buxom babe's instead of moe-blobs.
A slice of life show with a some vanilla fan service thrown in.

I think the basic format of the show is that it would have a large ensemble cast with some episodes focusing more on one particular girl.

In the episodes that focus on a specific girl we would get flashbacks showing her before she grew into her adult body.

The rest of the episodes would deal with these 'ume girls' getting instruction on things like makeup, dating, and work.
Their teachers would be women who would range from married nadesicos to Christmas cakes and a lot of the humor would come from the things these teachers tell the young women.

You would also have sidelines showing the interactions of the ume girls with friends and family who knew them before their change and showing how they handle it.
(Like the boy who now has to deal with his childhood friend who has suddenly gone from the bratty girl next door to the smirking onee-san with boobs the size of cantaloupes)

Fan service would be stuff like pool scenes with bikinis, innocent changing room scenes with bras galore but no nipple (and maybe some friendly groping), and frank discussions about sex.

(1/2)

So here is some stuff that I'm still wondering about and I would appreciate feedback.

Should there be a main character? A girl that we follow around when we're not specifically exploring other characters? Or should it be completely ensemble like Azumanga Daioh?

Would these girls go to a boarding academy where they would live in dorms or should they stay at home and go to school every morning? (Or maybe a mix of both with girls from far away living in the dorms.)

Would the girls all be completely grown before they join the class or would they still have some growing to do once they get there?
(For instance if we have a MC she may have just started her growth spurt and over the course of the first arc she grows rapidly into her mature body.)

Should the girls wear some sort of uniform or should they dress in normal clothes like college students?

If I were to try and make this I would probably make it a 4-koma since that would be the easiest to execute.

Any other thoughts are appreciated too, thanks.

(2/2)

Despite the pic I wouldn't include any bro or sis-con.

A cute girl who loves to play rhythm games tries to learn how to play actual music. As she meets with music club members she starts befriending them and over time learns how to play various instruments. Musical slice of life shenanigans ensue.

I think this would have been gold in the early 2000's.

I like that you've got a character arc here, and some potential for emotional resonance. Good premise, and well pitched.

That's an interesting premise. I'm not sure an anime would be the ideal format for it, though. The sequence of episodes would likely bias the reader towards or against certain characters. I'd like to see it attempted, though.

I can appreciate your intent here, but just as a heads up, some iteration of this joke is posted without fail in every one of these threads. I think there's still comedic potential to be had from criticism of the LN industry, but you may need to find a new format for it.

Your persistence is admirable. Do you have any interest in creating these yourself?

Sounds like it has good potential for comedic, over-the-top action.

I feel the challenge from god should pop up around the 25% mark, as that is roughly the point after which a total upending of the story gets sketchy. But otherwise intriguing. I like the detail about the anons mostly reiterating the stories they're familiar with, and I think there's a lot you could do with it.

Could be a decent twist on isekai, but there are many, many twists on isekai floating around. I'd like to hear more about your protagonist's personality. Why will we feel compelled to follow her?

That's intriguing. Could make for a good high school drama, if the cast is rendered well.

That's good, user. Very focused and clear, and poignant to boot. I'd watch it.

Sounds cute and seems to handle the relevant topics with sensitivity. Sup Forums's reaction would certainly be unruly, as you predict.

I like this a lot. It's dramatic and the setting is great. Nice work; would watch.

This is fairly unwieldy for a pitch. It would be a good idea to tidy it up. Greentexting or paragraph breaks would be good.

I write my own action si-fi manga right now, i can only hope it will become anime someday...

The story is about 2 MC one is a young man psychiatrist (weak/soft heart) and other one is use to be legendary soldier old man ( Funny guy/cool blood)

The story took place in german somewhere in 19th century, after human win a against great machine war (Instead of world war 2)

A young man was hired by a old man to treatment him because he was "too strong" he have some kind of mystery Instinct that to know all the dangers are going happening, And react with violence so he never lose to anyone and make him become legend but there also negative, he hurt a lot of people around him because he can't control this Instinct, he also never get a girlfriend(women is count as dangerous) that why he want a young man to find a way cure him so he can live normal life peacefully.

While the story goes on they both became close friend, there are lot of comedy at this point before story change to full action drama.

Everything is start to get complicated when terrorist organization known the old man ability and want him to join but because old man was too stubborn so they want the young man to convince him the young man was refused at first but its turn out that these terrorist are actually good people who fought against the american government that planning to use what's left of machine war technology to rule over people and it might start an another war, so the young man soft heart convince the old man to join them.

After bring down goverment an an antagonist have reveal a truth behind machine war and that everything start of because of Tardis (name of human first time machine) has bring the A.I. from distant future to this era (organic life cannot travel through time but something like data or human memory can do it) these A.I. are not evil they was program to save humanity, in future human will start a war again and again in the end human race will extinct.

I have a personal soft spot for stories about people working "behind the scenes" in standard genre settings. I think this could be fun, though you might need to outline more of your MC's specific journey.

The twist is interesting, and I think this would work well within its genre.

This feels violent for the sake of violence. To remedy that, focus on your protagonist and his state of mind. How does he feel about all this?

Plagiarism is wrong, user.

My chief warning to you is that you can probably find a book with a similar premise to this shelved in the YA Paranormal Romance section of your local bookstore. I believe you can make this work, though.

I recommend watching "Bureau of Proto-Society (Japan Animator Expo #29). It has a passing resemblance to one aspect of your plot, though the rest of your pitch is very novel. I really like it and the atmosphere you've set up, and would love to watch it and probably cry at the ending.

Broadly interesting premise, and the dynamic between the MCs is interesting. You really should reconsider calling your time machine the Tardis, though.

here

Thanks for your input, i'm gonna try really hard to avoid that, although the violence will probably be few and far in between since the comic/manga would focus more on the travels of the guy and him finding out where those friends live and are at a given time, rather than just skipping ahead, though i'm gonna have to make it sound and be not boring somehow.

Also the serial killer will not be the protagonist, instead the protag will switch between whatever his victim will be. You will get a look at their everyday lives for about half a chapter, and then see how close he is to approaching them until it's time for the final showdown, or something along those lines.

Do you have any other ideas that could make the story more interesting? Since i'm an amateur writer anything would be really appreciated!

Sincerely,

user.

The irregulars of the broken world

15 years have passed since the World War III or the great genocide as is better know, from 8.5 billion people in the world the number of inhabitants was reduced to mere 5 millions, countries disappeared others where erased or annexed, the number of veterans from this war can be counted with two hands and for some reason they can't remember anything from those days of war.

7 years after this event people around the world started to develop weird powers, the persons who developed these powers received the name of Irregulars, while the people who didn't were called Regulars, this helped the world a little to develop faster after the event.

The first 3 or so chapters of the story revolve around highschool people doing highschool stuff and explaining the changes on the world and some irregularities, after that when the bad guys attack the real main character appears.

The character a Policeman Irregular orphan from the genocide and adopted by one of the veterans has the power of summon ethereal bones and make an skeleton armor a la Susanoo or simply summon limbs to attack from the distance.

I like the idea of focusing on the victims rather than the killer. That would give it a similar feeling to a short story anthology, where each victim has their own story arc that concludes with them facing off against the killer. In that regard, you could study Paranoia Agent, which begins in a similar way, focusing on a handful of characters who are targeted by a supernatural hitman.

If you take that approach, though, you'll want to make sure that you have a conclusion in mind. These stories sound like they all end in the same way, with the victim fighting the killer and dying. You can only pull the same conflict and ending so many times in a row before it becomes stale and predictable.

To deal with that problem, you could either mix up the stories so that they don't always end the same way (maybe the killer loses, or kills the victim at the beginning, and the rest of the story is about the victim's mourners?), or you could work in an overarching story that develops from episode to episode, and has a conclusion at the end of the series, separate from the conclusion of each individual story.

Since this would be episodic, I would recommend studying other episodic series and their structures, as well as short stories. If your individual stories about the victims are written well and are satisfying on their own, you can keep them going for a long time before the audience grows bored of the formula.

In anime, aside from Paranoia Agent, I'd also recommend Boogiepop Phantom, which uses the anthology format roughly with a recurring character that ties the stories together. Shigofumi does this too, but I don't feel it's very strong in other regards.

Mushishi, Kino, and Mononoke are classic episodic anime without an overarching storyline, and would be good study material. Mushishi was originally a manga, so it might be a better fit if you want to do a comic.

Other than that, keep practicing storytelling and reading/watching with a critical eye. Good luck!

here

You're probably right this story randomly came to me one day and I told myself that it could be a good novel but since I came across this post I was like "let's post it and see what people think".

Anyway you're a good critic, immediately spotting this.

Continued

To prevent that from happen they have to the past and trying to find solution to change the future(they already did with great machine war) they decided that that the best way to make human race became one is "fear"

And that "fear" is" the old man" , A.I. chosen him to become symbol of fear by give him an ability known the future (mystery Instinct) make him become unbeatable and unkillable god that no one can defy, his only duty is to make the world fear of him.

but even so, this haven't changed the future that human race will end, these A.I. will reverse time back to the past and start it all again and again until they find out what went wrong make this become infinity loop that never end.

but this loop was different because of antagonist remove old man memory make him don't remember his true duty and he became legendary soldier instead of villain and he has met the youg man.

Antagonist goal is to became A.I. to take control the time.

The policeman has as goal find out what did truly happened during the great genocide, the little his adoptive father can remember is that during the siege of Panama city, they were attacked by an Irregular who control dead bodies, years before irregulars existed.

The power level meassure in this world is via roman numbers being I the weakest and XV the strongest, our protagonist ability is ranked IX.

Beside that he has to deal with the Elemental emperors, 4 powerful irregulars Rank XIII who control the four elements with the dream of conquest territories for themselves and expand their armies to have the world under their control and also are mafia stereotypes.

Water - Yakuza
Fire - Mexican Cartel
Earth - Italian Mafia
Air - Russian Mafia

He also has to deal with the mysterious organization know as Zodiac, their 13 members (Ophiuchus included) are called like the western zodiac and have powers who rank from XI to XIV.

The adventure goes that the policeman explores the world trying to find out about the veterans or something war related with the help of irregulars from that country or territory and once he find what he wants he goes to the next place, kind of linear in some way or another.

>Turns slowly into a male
Why just have it be immediate?

That sounds like a super depressing delve into identity politics.
I don't think anyone would want to watch it unless you gave her some way to adapt, otherwise it would be too depressing.

Also, does she wake up with a male ID? It would be hard to transfer in anywhere without documentation.

is about a vampire that hunt monsters with her half demon girlfriend.

I say yes to the idea of an MC. It gives someone to anchor the cast around. I'm thinking of something along the lines of Cromartie High School, and how it handled its cast.

I also think that the idea of dorms is a good idea - from an in-universe standpoint, it'll give the girls a sense of solidarity with others who have their condition.

Thinking about it logically, the authorities would probably want to confirm whether a girl is actually experiencing the phenomenon before they execute the school transfer. I'd give the first episode with half having MC-chan at her former school, and half with her at the boarding school where she transfers mid-change. She completes the changes over the next two episodes.

School uniforms can be a very easy recurring joke, so I'd say go for that.

A Of Mice and Men adaptation that takes place in Feudal Japan with the MCs being two 19 year old girls. The final death scene is done with a katana beheading when MC1 has to Kill MC2 who is her mentally challenged sister after she accidentally kills the rice farmer's son during intercourse.

I like this thread. It makes me realize my ideas are not the worst out there.

Reverse Isekai.

MC finds a wizard girl on his way home. They become friends, usual love bullshit. Then more characters begin to appear, more love bullshit.

Then MC finds the plot, which is basically that the Isekai reality and his reality are slowly merging into one. Nothing can be done.

how about an anime remake of the king and i with laser battles and full frontal nudity?

Basketball American anime where he goes to Nippon banzai to be the very best male seiyuu in the industry
