These two groups of people were, I guess, respectively the descendants of two brothers, which means that they share a single common ancestor. This means they completely share common genetics, and any genetic tendencies which modern jews have today would also be shared by these "Israelites". In all respects they would be genetically identical. no there isn't, book of Zecheriah already refers to "yehudim" which includes all tribes, not only judah. And this is before babylonian captivity.

The lost sheep of isarel are just what it says, children of ISRAEL, meaning jews, who are "lost" in the sense that they're worshipping wrong, becoming involved in stupid customs and making religions out of tradition.

Like all biblical things, they two persons but it's actually full countries and people that is meant. They are very different hence why once is blessed by god to create many nations (Israel) and not the jews. Also why the jews never liked Joseph.
In the bible, it is also stated that they had different mothers. Rachel is the mother of Joseph. Interestingly, the father Jacob always loved Rachel but due to many circumstances wasn't able to be with her for over a decade. Hence, Joseph is the actual son born of love whereas Judah is born from another mother Jacob didn't love.
So now we're going off the theory that the Jews' malicious behavior is the result of some 2000-year old intergenerational trauma of some sort? Oy vey!
