Sounds legit. Competing against Youtube is a tough battle. The only way to gain some leverage over their internet monopoly is to vote with your feet. Even a small portion of people abandoning or cutting down on Youtube will impact their income from ads and traffic. Also Youtube can't claim ownership over most of the videos and material on their site. There's no reason why a competing service couldn't take material from youtube and put it on their own website. With time it could offer some resistance to an already concerning trend of internet censorship.
