Everyone needs to get eddie to post in the alchie thread on /ck/ and become a regular there:

He’s still in denial

American here. Sorry to barge in. But I thought for years now that Nick Clegg made one of the worst decisions in modern political history by going into coalition with the Tories. It's not that he should have gone in with Labour, after all the map did not work out. The problem is that Nick Clegg missed a chance for his Liberals to supplant Labour as the primary left-of-center party in Britain.

Remember this post?-

How did you find these

Tax cuts are not austerity.

I hope you realise "Eddie" isn't a real person. But the eccentric persona of a recluse with a boring but expansive imagination.

Searching 'brit/pol/' on twatter.

Brit/pol/ destroyed.

you sound scared lmao

Ok there's what happens if the Lib Dems don't coalition
>Labour and Tories in the next(snap) election: Told you 3rd parties don't work goyim!
Then we collapse but without the coalition

twitter.com/daftdude1234/status/891276422706343938

Fucking hell! Hitchens is on to us!

Lol

'Desert Fox'- what happened to him?

Then what am I supposed to do with buns?

>Back in black: UK in current budget surplus as IMF says Osborne was right to cut spending

Funny isn't it?

Funny isn't it?

Isn't it funny?

When I came here 17 years ago and said I wanted to lead Britain into austerity and cut spending to get Britain back to surplus, you all laughed at me.

Well you're not laughing now.

The Liberals got more votes than Labour in 2010. While Labour won more seats, technically if we look at the popular vote, it was Labour that was the 3rd party. A snap election would likely have resulted with a collapse in both labour and liberal popular votes, and a small conservative majority, but the point would have been made. That displacement would not happen overnight but over the course of years.

Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME. Do I look 16 to you counter cunts? You don't card me for fags, so why card me for Rockstar?

Pic related, taken in Tesco.

>10yr olds killing toddlers
>16 yr olds shootin 11yr olds

why would anyone be scared of scousers?

The mistake wasn't in the creation of the coalition, but in the running.

How would he have done that? Another election and they would have sunk, 25% was definitely a high water mark. If they went with confidence and supply they would still get blamed for all the cuts but get none of the cushy jobs and party funding.
The problem with Clegg is his complete lack of personality or gravitas, so when he was trying to persuade the electorate that the Lib Dems are trying to do something painful but right for the country it comes across as insincere and obvious that they're just doing whats right for their party.

>tesco

Kek how gutted must Osborne be that after all that work to fix a 16 year deficit we’ll fall back in after Brexit?

Yeah and as a result the next PM will be a communist. Well done.

Tory 4d chess fucked them

How do you mean? They didn't campaign effectively?

any /fit/ people here
I barbell curl 25kg (plus 5kg bar) 3 x 8, then do the same weight 3 x 10 OHP then do press ups to failure every other day, (just started again though) is this or am I a weak cunt and will I make gains?

Why do you give a fuck

>Tax cuts are not austerity.
That's true, but having a more sensible tax policy stimulates growth and helps people deal with weaning themselves off the state's teat.

I think the more cuts we have, the more likely we will see more tax cuts for everyone. I mean, the state is incredibly bloated still, but you can't just cut out all the fat in one go or it would cause far too much hardship. Real change takes time.

>Here, have a referendum on this completely pointless change to the electoral system.
I'm glad that and the Scot indy ref gave the tories so much confidence in winning referendums though.

When the apocalypse happens you can use them as a fort to protect you and your loved ones. Also, in times of emergency you can wrap them round your benis to keep warm in vital areas.

The Tory party machine was dead. Completely dead. The liberties that the lib dems could've taken in 2010 were insane. But the Tories realised just how much ground the Lib Dems were willing to give up and hardened up.

Protip: go to /fit/ and read the sticky.

Never mind cucking on the PR referendum. Huge mistake.

The failure in the coalition from the Lib Dem perspective came right from the beginning in negotiation. Instead of having a wide, ineffective spread, they should've taken full control of a small number of ministries plus AV/STV/AMS

All spooks.

TWAT

Yes that would have actually been the smart thing to do.

Can you imagine though if it ended up with the Dems forming a coalition with the loosing party like in New Zealand.

>Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME. Do I look 16 to you counter cunts? You don't card me for fags, so why card me for Rockstar?
>Pic related, taken in Tesco.

Why are you drinking that shit you man boobed degenerate.

Spoke to David Laws about that
He said that they did it because Osborne let them abstain in the tuition fees vote, but one of Nick Clegg's advisors then decided against that to show coalition solidarity (he was a right twat

Spook.

Ffs. One of the most important things they could have done for the country.

What Nick or his advisor? How did you get to speak to David laws? Through grindr?

where's the 350 million?

Brainlets knee jerking again
No wonder this country is dead

Reminder that britain will never change, every other nation will have a revolution to depose their masters and kick the shitskins out but it will never happen in britain, the state is too strong and only getting stronger, apart from australia we are literally the only western nation where the govt will enforce china tier authoritarianism in order to maintain the status quo, we are completely fucked

woohoo

Annnd look who pounces. And this is the fat knacker who once had a go at me for diving into a conversation.

>locality

Spooks.

Dont you know? Our copes a politico, works for the lib dems. Few years we might have a brit/pol/ PM.

I probably had a go at you because you were ignoring previously established context or demanding the conversation divert to whatever you wanted to talk about.
Neither would surprise me from a knee jerk brainlet like yourself.

Anyone hyped for the Total War: Age of Britannia release?

Really have gotten into ancestral history in the past year so it will tie things up a little.

Oh no I didn't I don't normally spend much time on here, I of course recognise the various name posters though.

I actually used to like the lib dems

Surprise it was about constitutions (we have 'a' wrirren constitution). You didnt seem to realise you were arguing with 2 different anons the whole way through. Charitably i put it down to our ids being blurred for you due to obesity, alcoholism, and being a cunt.

THEY'RE LITERALLY KILLING THE DISABLED

I was thinking about him last night watching QT. Has he hit puberty yet?

total war has been garbage since rome 2, they've completely ruined the collision system and combat in general is a fucking mess, the campaign map is also shitty and forces you to do things you don't like, not to mention its been invaded by autistic warhammer fans

Mummy im transexual.

The Prophet [pbuh] would have been a Labour voter, and so will you be little Ahmed (Inshallah)

You're on Sup Forums lad. It's all the life you need.

The last good total war was medieval 2, shogun 2 was ok because the combat was still pretty good but the campaign map ruined it for me, also

>tfw you just realised 2013 was FIVE years ago

His advisor

AfD were in the Bundestag yesterday defending the German language, redpilling the masses live from the national parliament. The electore may be rotten, but the system is a thousand times more rotten.

Mate, when I quit drinking most of my social life went with it. Ridiculous how much we rely on booze for leisure activities.

You need to learn how to deal with this faggot. You can't be having a breakdown brought on by the insecurity you suffer every time you see me posting.

If the only goal of politics is to win "points", then yeah sure you vapid cunt. Your team can win a few points.
But if it's goal is the operation of the state and the legislative process and mechanism of change, then you're fucking retarded, enjoy your gridlocked legislator because some cunt said a few buzzwords that got you hard while zero worth while bills passed

In the AV referendum I voted to change first past the post, I then moved and lived in Australia for a few years where it's a preferential voting system. I'd now vote to keep first past the post. Because some of the parties that got into the Australian parliament were a complete joke. Lots of one issue parties like the motoring enthusiasts party. Not kidding.
