There's the usual ringing after a concert which goes away after a day or so and then there's chronical tinnitus that can come in various forms. Rigning, hammering, cracking, humming whatever. Don't ask me about the medical explanation tho'. When I got mine I didn't even realize it because it's more of a humming sound. Always thought it was my PC :/ I even checked my PSU and fans.
