Madhouse has a strange aversion to second seasons even of really popular stuff. You would think they would have tried to keep the cash flow going but no. I'm still conflicted on if it would have been better to never have another season or this option with JC Staff. I'm not optimistic enough to think it will be any good.
Because madhouse is set in never, and i repeat, NEVER, doing seasons 2 of their biggest succeses. So, when they realized they had announced season 2 and could not go back, they just handled it to another person so that they could keep they perfect track of never doing seasons 2.
I would never touch myself if I know this was on of the outcomes.
