That is what Tatsuki worked with. And he himself was a no-name director. Tatsuki himself did most of the 3D modeling and rewrote most of the script himself. His entire team was like 10 people. Tatsuki and his small ass team put their heart and soul into making the first season. Tatsuki is basically the heart and soul of Komono Friends.
And then Kadokawa decides to kick him off his own project. That's fucked up.
