Well, the story is more fleshed out through every part. The manga covers the entire high school years with the second girl. MC is getting ready to leave for college and the girl confesses to him. MC realizes he messed up and turns her down at the airport. Manga ends with a cliffhanger where she runs into MC at a park 10 years later
