In that, the angel is forcibly bound to Earth and tortured by humans seeking to gain the source of her godly powers, Aya's version has a much happier ending.

The seed plan is set into motion. The Sentinels are to guide Ayaya outside the wall and plant seeds that will turn the burning land into lush greenery. Mebu throws her usual autism fit during training but gets told off by Yumiko, and Mebu has to admit that she was in the wrong and realizes that Yumiko might be more than just a silly ojou-sama. Some sexy bathtime with Ayaya in between where they talk about the upcoming seed mission and how she doesn't just want to sit at home and wait for the Sentinels to return. She'd rather come with them and even if it's scary and all that. Mebu realizes that even if Aki and her faceless buddies think the Sentinels are just disposable goods, at least Ayaya will always be on her side. Next, Yumiko wants join Mebu for her daily run. Yumiko tells the backstory of her family which is pretty much what we speculated: The Mirokus and the Akamines defeated the terror cultists (it is now confirmed that they were indeed a cult by the way), but the Taisha censored everything relating to the Vertex regarding that incident and the Miroku family was kinda forgotten in the aftermath. Yumiko now fights to regain her family's lost reputation. Mebu and Yumiko learn to respect each other and things get kinda gay between them. Next, the seed mission begins. Ayaya gets her special outfit, the "robe of feathers" and tells the legend surrounding its name. The story is about the owner of the garment returning to heaven either voluntarily or by force, and Mebuki wonders why the Taisha would choose such an ominous name for the outfit. The Sentinels get to their target location, Ayaya plants the seed, plants start overgrowing the scorched land and everything seems to go well, but then the abdomen destroyer shows up. Chapter end.
