what im saying is that even if they were successful you can simply go to blockchain.info/ , put in the address you they asked to send money to and view all transactions . bitcoin is a completely transparent blockchain , criminal\stolen money can be flagged and traced and cant be bought or traded with any exchange or business . the most you can do is these services that match you with someone trying to buy bitcoin for fiat and to unload the dirty money unto him , but then you run into honeypots\other criminals or no one buys enough bitcoin outside exchanges for you to launder your dirty coins .
