Let 16-year-olds vote like they do in Argentina, Austria, Brazil and Nicaragua

>“Unfortunately, when it comes to electing lawmakers whose decisions about gun control and other issues affect their lives, these high schoolers lack any real power. This needs to change: The federal voting age in the United States should be lowered from 18 to 16.

>Skeptics will no doubt raise questions about the competence of 16-year-olds to make informed choices in the voting booth. Aren’t young people notoriously impulsive and hotheaded, their brains not fully developed enough to make good judgments?”

>“In addition to the scientific case for lowering the voting age, there is also a civic argument. Consider the dozen or so countries like Argentina, Austria, Brazil and Nicaragua that allow people to vote at 16 in national, state or local elections. In such countries, voter turnout among 16- and 17-year-olds is significantly higher than it is among older young adults.”

If anything the voting age should be raised to 30. Also only married couples should get the right to vote, while giving a single vote per family, making it impossible for politicians to draw a wedge in the family unit by forcing men and women to vote agaisnt each other.

>Drive at 16
>Drink at 21
>Selective Service at 18
>Rent a car at 25
>Go to war at 19
>Buy a pistol at 21, and soon a rifle as well.
These people are fucking stupid, and only want to push this to increase the turnout, and numbers of Democrat voters.

(((They))) want people with no standing in the economy voting.

Adulthood is being reached later and later.

Voting rights should be tightened up to one vote per working family. No votes to women or children.

So in one breath, Democrats say 16-year-olds are intelligent, bright, mature and ready to vote and decide the future of our country, then in the next breath they're too stupid and immature to buy guns or tobacco at 18, and the ages to purchase those things should be raised to 21.

Voter ID Laws in every state first, libshits

>Unfortunately, when it comes to electing lawmakers whose decisions about abortion and other issues affect their lives, these fetuses lack any real power. This needs to change: The federal voting age in the United States should be lowered from 18 years to - 7 months

every. single. time.

don't forget the tide pods mate

Most teens vote with their feeling, that's what being a teenager is all about: being stupid and high on your own hormones. You shouldn't be able to vote.

>Let 16-year-olds vote like they do in Argentina, Austria, Brazil and Nicaragua

why, so everywhere else can become a shithole like
>Argentina, Austria, Brazil and Nicaragua

Only people who put in more than they take should be allowed to vote. If you don't help pay the bills you shouldn't decide where the money goes. America would turn into a libertarian dream land overnight.

Sure lets give even more rights to unemployed wardens of the state, what could go wrong.
>Alright class lets all go down to cafeteria and vote and remember all the stuff we learned about the candidates I've been teaching you for the past month.

Austria is ok.

>16y olds are stupid and impulsive they shouldnt get to vote
>BUT LOOK AT ALL THESE SHITHOLES THAT LET 16 YEAR OLDS VOTE ARENT THEY GREAT HAHA

>Ok, let's take a look at the results before we mail your ballots in, class. Stephan - Hillary good, A+ Dayquan - Hillary ok very nice A+, Keisha - Bernie hmmm B Louis - Trump- TRUMP? F! Let's see you make detention great again for the next two weeks young man!

>Also only married couples should get the right to vote
I'd add: with at least one child. Only responsible people should vote.
Mentally handicapped have the right to vote in France...

literally Hitlerland

>Letting the age brackets that eat tide pods vote
What could go wrong?

OD in voting booth

We don't teach out kids well enough and consider them graduated from high school I don't understand how people can think even a younger age could vote responsibly.
They'd fight lowering the selective service registration age to 18 though because they're a bunch of faggots

Always do the opposite of what Brazil does.

I'll have you know we were a shithole before teenagers were allowed to vote. At least we will survive as a people, unlike you.

>"At least we will survive as a people"
>congolombians pour in
>venezuelans pour in
>bolivians pour in
>haitians pour in
>angolans pour in

>18 year olds aren't responsible enough to exercise their constitutional right to self defense.
>Raise the age to buy guns to 21! (Its still fine for them to get drafted and shot for Uncle Sam though).

>16 year olds are responsible enough to vote Democrat!
>Lower the voting age to 16!

Actually all 18 based age restrictions should be raised to 20. In my experience personally and from what I've observed nobody can effectively be considered an Adult until they're at least 20. Its a nice round number anyway and due to longer lifespans its not necessary to make teen boys own up at an earlier age before they're ready.
> Age 21 restrictions should also be reduced to 20.

we have vote at 16 cause Cristina was worried she wouldn't win again if she didn't use brainwashed public education activist retartdds

we are not a shithole, we are a moderately undercleaned public restroom

There's a saying in Brazil.

"If something only exists in Brazil and it's not jabuticaba fruit (pic related), then it's shit".

Never take Brazil as an example.

Dems rely on people being too fucking retarded to question anything they do, so in a sense they want the entirety of America to be like their followers

>These people only want to push this to increase the numbers of Democrat voters
we did the same here to increase right wing outcome and it worked

that's just silly. 16 year olds can't consent.

lol two kike names melded one

they can where i live

I'll tone this down to special Olympics levels. No joke, you should not be allowed to vote unless you have maintained employment and paid taxes for the past year straight. The fact that people on welfare, or kids who've never pitched a cent into the system can vote for things that increase the tax burden on those that do pay is utterly baffling.
