Did anyone watch My hero academia? Midoriya really is a copy and paste Gon by my opinion, same but reversed color hair, same "power", the friendship is magic, stubborn. Entrance Exam Arc/ Yuuei Beginnings Arc = Hunter Exam Arc, Sports Festival Arc = Heavens Arena Arc/Zoldyck Family Arc, Stain Arc = Yorknew Arc, Chimera Ant Arc = School Trip Arc. Whats your opinion?
My hero academia, HxH copy paste?

No. But if anything I say Gon's the real mad man.
>the friendship is magic
I don't know about HxH, but Midoriya doesn't give a fuck about his friends. He risked the lifes of four of them when he tried to save another one's life in a suicidal way.
I give you the first two but the rest no.
HxH and BnHA don't use the power of friendship so hard.
Deku

Gon

I like both series, but you are really reaching
This "Gon is a sociopath" is a very stupid meme. Most of the time, Gon is like Goku at the beginning of Dragon Ball: a silly boy who does things without thinking to much but still cares about his friends and gets angry when he sees injustice. He's far from this calculating beast with bloodlust as the Chimerafags think.
Gon isn't a sociopath. Also, he's aware of danger but it thrills him like Killua.
>HxH, super fucking dangerous world where everyone has to kill to survive and that's how it's always been
>HxH everyone is always out for number one, the "good guys" in the show band together to further their objectives, they do a ton of killing or indirect killing (letting people die that are a threat or "bad")
>MHA, heroes protect the weak, people band together just to oppose evil, death is shocking and killing villains is something to be avoided
As for Gon vs Deku: Gon is extremely strong, has had to mostly raise himself, is pretty much a tiny green pants wearing Chad. His motivation for finding his dad isn't love or even respect, it's to understand why he would be left behind, and then to challenge himself to become as strong as his dad and surpass him.
Gon cares deeply about people, which is rare and special in that universe and is what everyone is drawn to, but killing is still very much a part of his life.
Deku is a deeply thoughtful wet blanket that, despite his lack of strength (which, once he gets strength, is replaced with a lack of control that results in him getting hurt or having to work extra hard to succeed), still goes all out to try and save people. People are drawn to Deku because of his compassion, because he's extremely selfless, because he sees the best in people and tries to bring it out in them, because he understands people (even villains) even if he doesn't agree with them.
Deku's motive for finding All Might (the stand-in for his Dad) and being like All Might is so that he can be a shining symbol of peace, and achieve the apex of what it means to him to be a hero, and is pretty much just an extension of his heroic selflessness and tremendous compassion (all things All Might spotted, along with Deku's observational skills and insight) that made AM take Deku as his disciple.
